If you ask anyone what is the difference between 75 and 74 they would say it is 1. With respect to CPA exams i feel the difference is more than 1. I have so far got two consecutive 74’s in AUD when i was sure i would pass. What is the significance of this 74?….74 is one mark where you cant be happy nor you can be very sad but its frustrating..so near yet so far.Your views please.

    BEC: 77(Nov 2010), 81(Jul 2012).
    FAR: 80(Jul 2012).
    REG: 72(Jul 2012), 78(Oct 2012).
    AUD: 71(Nov 2010),74(Jul 2012),74(Oct 2012),75(Jan 2013)- Thanks God, without you i couldnt have done this. I'M DONE !!!

74 means the same thing as a 23…..time to take it again. doesnt matter how much you fail by

    Aud-75 3x I knew i never liked you
Bec-77 1x being in the bubble is stressful
Reg-82 4x its not me its you...and no we cant be friends
    Far-78 1x easiest section

I honestly think it means that you overall did pretty well, but probably missed one or two key questions that obviously the designers of the test feel are necessary for you to know for “adequate protection of the public” or whatever….so frustrating.

A 74 is the worst, especially when it's the last section. I wish I could take the exam again in two weeks – but alas, I have to wait two months…
