varhej68ParticipantHow did you get them to tell you if they had your score? Everytime I call they give me a new reason about why they aren't allowed to give out any information about it. I seem to rember last window a few scores trickling in after, also its possible the idiots at NASBA are just telling you they don't have the score based because they are assuming you can't see it online. I don't think anyone understands WI Process except candidates!
BEC - 08/12/10 - 85
FAR - 10/01/10 - 84

WisconsinCPA2beParticipantWell first she told me that NASBA hasn't received any scores for REG and I told her that they posted on facebook that they released 7114 scores on Friday, and she said “well they didn't release yours because we don't have any scores for you”.

varhej68ParticipantWhat is the candidate number that is asking for?
BEC - 08/12/10 - 85
FAR - 10/01/10 - 84
AUD - 10/30/10 - 81
REG - 11/30/10 - 85November 22, 2010 at 5:49 pm #258784
AnonymousInactiveSO here is my question to you guys (and gals)…I just read in the score release forum that NASBA (notice I said NASBA and not WI – I know better) released FAR scores but if you got a new simulation on FAR your score wouldn't be released until wave 2. Does anyone know if there is any truth in this?
The loophole has already told me that BEC didn't go well…but that doesn't help to calm me down about FAR. 🙁
November 22, 2010 at 5:54 pm #258785
varhej68ParticipantThat is true, but you don't know if you got a new simulation or not so there is no point in guessing…you really just wont know until you receive your score. If the loophole isn't letting you re register I would just hold out hope that you passed. I'm hoping there is no wave 1.5 and then we will know soon
BEC - 08/12/10 - 85
FAR - 10/01/10 - 84
AUD - 10/30/10 - 81
REG - 11/30/10 - 85November 22, 2010 at 5:59 pm #258786
AnonymousInactivevarhej68: when did you sit for the exam?
I know there is no official way of knowing aside from getting the actual score in the mail….but it's just that If I need to get a game plan together, I'd like to know. With tax season on the horizon, my days of getting in there ASAP to do a retake are numbered. 🙁

varhej68ParticipantI took far Oct 1 and Audit November 1 – The loophole isn't letting me register for FAR so I'm hoping my score has been received and I passed but who knows – call and bug NASBA to find out if they received your score then you will probably know for sure whether you passed or not
BEC - 08/12/10 - 85
FAR - 10/01/10 - 84
AUD - 10/30/10 - 81
REG - 11/30/10 - 85November 22, 2010 at 7:14 pm #258788
AnonymousInactiveIs the loophole letting you register for Audit? Or is that not released yet? Loophole isn't letting me register for FAR either, however after reading that about the new sims I'm not holding my breath nor counting on it being accurate.
I am not a believer in bugging NASBA because they're not the issue – they're just doing their job…I just wish the state would release scores quicker. I broke down and ordered the 2011 Becker updates already so I can get cracking as soon as I find out. I just want to know the official results sooner rather than later. 🙁

Rehm-CPA1DAYParticipantthanks guys! I am getting the smae message and I am hoping that is a good sign, I have been able to re-register too many times in the past so it is nice not to be able to…..well hopefully it is a good sign.

WisconsinCPA2beParticipantDo you really think the wave is closed? Where did you see that Jeff thinks so? I would think they would do another release of audit…Last window we had to wait a week after the wave was closed to get Wisconsin scores. Do you think with the new and improved NASBA that they will release right away after the wave is closed or do we still have another week of agony?
