Is anyone else going insane waiting for their final score to be released in August?

Looking to see if anyone is studying or planning to start re-studying for their final section after having already taken it.

I can’t imagine studying anymore but am scared to roll the dice and not.

I'm waiting for my last section and I'm driving insane every time I think about it.
I'm a guy who would be less paranoid if I prepare myself for the worst case scenario so I think I'll re study starting from the first of August. I think that will help me to pass the 17 days with less stress and in case I fail, I would be prepared to re take it in this window.

I am waiting for my last score as well. If I did not pass, I'll loose REG…and have to retake 2 parts in Q3 before my BEC credit expires. My state said they will except letters requesting the credit extension after the score release. Hopefully I passed, so did all of us waiting. I'm enjoying summer and in the same time restudying just in case. It really sucks to wait this long.

    REG: 77 x2
    BEC: 81 x3
    FAR: 68 retake 10/1
    AUD: 8/27

@mtaylo24 You bring me comfort I'm in my time of need. The reality has just hit me but if I have not passed the section my reg Credit will expire and also my audit Credit will expire at the end of August so I will have to retake far and reg it within two weeks or stand to lose audit. I need so badly to pass his exam so I can change jobs and move to North Carolina to be with my fiancé this whole thing is taking such a toll on myself and my family. I'm officially going to start studying again starting now just in case I get another 74.

I too am waiting for my final score. Really praying I passed. Not feeling too confident that I did. I've pretty much taken the summer off, as well, but I was also thinking it would be a good idea to start looking at REG again in August in case I didn't pass so I can take it again right away. Hope everyone gets good news!

Also waiting for my last score. Just emailed the Virginia Board of Accountancy to see if there's a decision on credit extension. Lose REG and BEC if this one wasn't a pass. Fingers crossed for all

@mscfisher It could be a waste a time, but you never know! I'm definitely rooting for you to finally pass this beast.

    @Chasta
, I heard back from them last week, they told me no decisions will be made until after score release “due to the volume of requests”.. Let me know if they tell you different…

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

@mtaylo24 from the Virginia Board: Due to the volume of candidates requesting an extension, NASBA has asked the Board to wait until the scores are released before we request extensions for the candidates who are affected by the late release only if they are not successful in passing the exam.

@chasta does that mean they may potentially extend expired scores if we didn't pass?

I'm also waiting for my final score. Due to the late score release date I was actually able to enjoy the summer with my wife and family and focus more on my job, but times when i'm by myself like taking a shower or walking to work the exam day experience keeps popping up in my head… I try to stay optimistic about the exam result, but since I'm a human i get distressed occasionally, also having no CPA candidates around me makes it more difficult. Hopefully this long 2 1/2 months of waiting can be a step for becoming a better person. Good luck to us!!!

@chasta – I hope they are quick because in the worst case scenario, it will be quite a crunch re-applying, getting your NTS and scheduling before Sept 10.

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)
