Two Tests in One Window?

I recently found out that I failed REG with a 72 and lost credit for my BEC score. I am thinking about taking both of them in the upcoming testing window. Is this a good idea? Does anyone have experience with taking two tests in one window? Is it smarter to spread them out? Any info would be appreciated.

    FAR - 78
    BEC - 78
    REG - 72 (11/30)

How much spare time do you have? I took 3 last window but was only finishing up college so I had quite a bit of time outside of schoolwork. With just a full-time job it is definitely possible. The major complicating factor I think would be dealing with having children. If that's the case for you 2 may be difficult.

I am planning on tackling both REG and BEC this quarter. I think it can be done. Especially since you've studied for both parts already and have passed one of them before.

    BEC 71,77
    REG 65,85
    FAR 7/1/13
    AUD 8/24/13

I am married with no kids so that is good, but I do work for a big 4 accounting firm which makes things pretty unpredictable

    AUD - 80
    FAR - 78
    BEC - 78
    REG - 72 (11/30)

If you need to take two in one window so you don't lose credit for something you've already passed, I'd go ahead and try it. Based on my personal experience, if you are working/married/kids better to only do one per window. I think its far too much stress and no value added to take two in one window (no offense intended to those who prefer to take more than one) if you don't “have” to.

I can defnitely be done. I did it last window and since you just took REG you will go through the material quicker. I actually recommend you do both.

    REG-89

I would recommend taking as many as you possibly can, with being (somewhat) prepared, of course. My testing layout did result in a few more failures than others, but I did complete everything within about 6 months of my 1st passing score. I took the approach of trying not to waste any testing windows. I really did not want to drag this out and put the 18-month deadline to the test. I was a MS student, worked FT, married, and wife was pregnant at the time. So it is doable for sure.

    3rd Qtr 2010 – took B (71)

    4th Qtr 2010 – took B, A, R, F (74, 71, 83, 73)

    1st Qtr 2011 – took B, F (77, 78)

    2nd Qtr 2011 – took A (84)

    BEC - 71, 74, 77 (Feb - 2011)
    FAR - 73, 78 (Feb - 2011)
    REG - 83 (Nov 2010)
    AUD - 71, 84 (May 2011) - Done!! CPA licensed in TX (July 2011)

Definitely doable. All you need to do is touch up on the material that you know well from both and then give an extra week or so on material you are weak on from both REG and BEC. You have already studied it, but you just need to nail it down like some of the other material you may be stronger on. I say go for it. Determine which one you did weaker on and give a little more time for that one. You can do it.

Shouldn't be that big of a deal. I would recommend scheduling BEC for the beginnning of the window, and REG for the end…You know scores will not be coming out untill September, so you will not have any score release distractions when studying for REG. I work full time, attend school fullt time, am married, and have a 3 year old….I always doubled up on testing except for the last window since I had to retake FAR (do not take FAR and REG during the same window when you work full time, attend school full time, are married and have a 3 year old LOL).

    AUD 79 Q4 2010 - NY
    BEC 84 Q4 2010
    REG 79 Q1 2011
    FAR 86 Q2 2011 - Done
