    Just feeling completely overwhelmed by life right now. In the grand scheme this too will pass, but right now I am an exhausted weepy mess that doesn’t want to polish cheerleading shoes, put curlers in cheerleaders hair, register 14 girls for girl scouts, prepare a meeting for said girls for Tuesday, study for my international accounting class, study AUD again and suffer through a pop Warner game tomorrow (and no, I did not sell all the raffle tickets that are due tomorrow)

    Will be back to my usual perky self tomorrow but for now I would rather boo hoo!

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

    Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

    I totally feel for you, mla1169, you can do it! You've got lots of things going on, and studying for the CPA to boot… It's ok to be upset right now, just don't let it get the best of you!

    Good luck with everything you have to do!

    mla,

    ok, I am pretty sure I crashed your pity party. In fact, I pretty sure my party joined yours and everyone else's that had one today. I got so pathetic late in the day that the guy at Starbucks asked me if I was ok after he took my order. I was holding in a cry –you know the kind that you feel in the back of the throat–then when he asked it made my eyes start watering on contact!!! sometimes the act of a stranger can be so kind that it just throws you.

    mla–your day sounded extremely full. You're a tough chic, I was fairly useless after going to Target and a workout…..here is how it went for me:

    So, I decided to work on setting up the Apple tv. I figured starting a task and finishing would be fulfulling. I was so excited once I got it up and running and so looking forward to a ton of laughs watching Bridesmaids. Of course as my luck would have it (I know that you all know how my luck started today –hehe) no Bridesmaids. I then checked Comcast-nada. I was really bummed. So, my hubby and I watched Thor. I am a huge superhero fan, watched all the cartons as a kid–kinda weird b/c I am a girl, but I love seeing the good guy win in the end. So, I am so pathetic (and after drinking a couple of frostys) I am crying when Thor earns back the hammer. Wow. Seriously hope I wake up tomorrow and am out of this crazy stage of the mourning process!! I have all my supplies. I even went so far as getting a 5 subject notebook. But alas, I am stuck in mud until REG comes out.

    Tomorrow will be better mla. I think being busy is helpful. I am going to go after my list with a vengeance till I know the disposition of REG.

    @ACCT-sorry about BEC! You will get it next time!!! Hopefully we all will. keep the faith.

    Thanks, Yankeeaccountant. Waiting right along with you for REG…

    Hope everyone does well on scores not yet received!

    I love it when people press me for how many parts I've taken so far/passed…I've become really good at beating around the bush and totally steering the conversation off topic 🙂 especially these days…

    @acct,

    hey, can you spare me a few of your lines? Ugh, on my way to my part time job. I am setting up an accounting system for a prior client. They knew I was waiting on 2 scores……need to deflect all questions–HELP!!!

    It seems like my pity party is like one of those scary movies, you can get in the haunted house–but you can never leave!! I am just a mess while waiting for REG….don't want any more disappointment. I watched Dodgeball last night–which is too funny. But all I keep thinking about is the wife of the one guy who keeps making an “L” on her forehead with her hands.

    Is it just me or was there an inordinate amount of 90's+ on Audit this window?! grrrrrr.

    Hope everyone who posted on this thread starts the week off good! We are have to keep up chins up!

    @yankee and mla–I have still yet to find out my score…I'm freaking out…I know I will be joining y'all again soon. I'm not going to give you the same “you can do it speech” just yet…because when I've felt like that all I wanted to do is scream and yell at people “you don't' know how hard I've worked!!!”

    So have your pity party…and I might be joining y'all soon!!!

    REG-80, 77, 77
    BEC-67, 68, 71, 67, 71, 74, 71, 74, 72, 77

    AUD-58, 62, 72, 74, 74, 75
    took 5 years but I'm DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    @mla1169,

    It's okay to be sad. The hardest part for me is putting on that brave front for my husband and kids. They hate to see me disappointed. They are usually asleep when I see my scores so I can have my tantrum all by myself and try to gain my composer before morning.

    It will take a few days of going through the motions but eventually you will come to the acceptance stage. Get angry and turn your rage against AUD. Meanwhile we are here to listen and support you.

    Will you be here to help me make fun of NASBA tweets today?

    @yankeeaccountant

    🙂 My immediate family's going to inevitably find out…for coworkers and close friends, I told them I will let them know in a few weeks how I did…that way I have time to retake whatever I need to, and PASS!!

    As far as everyone else is concerned…it's tough. I guess I just sort of mumble something about how I passed two and am waiting for scores…Saying that I'm waiting for scores sounds ok, but in a few days that will all be over….

    It's really no one's business how we're doing until we pass… on the other hand, if someone asks point blank if you passed and you say no, is it so terrible? What does everyone think?

    Is it a shame/embarrassment/ego thing?

    By the way, Yankeeaccountant, I feel like everyone's been doing really well on BEC while I did not….totally empathize with the “grrrr”.

    May Tuesday bring us all wonderful news!
