What’s the first thing you going to do when you find out you passed?

I’m going to reach for a miller light, and chuck it all at once. Sweet taste of victory is within sight, I hope.

I have a bottle of champagne chilling already, my fire pit empty, kindling under the porch and my Wiley books neatly stacked on top of the fridge. Light a match, pop the cork and hop in the hot tub.

Wow, not sure exactly what to do first. I think I will be like a deer in headlights–totally dead in my tracks. Then I will laugh, probably cry a bit (only out of relief) and then reach for that celebratory bottle of some awesome beer. I just tried some Lucky Bucket IPA and loved it, so I am going to try and find a large bottle of this since it would be so apropo, and drink it with a smile on my face….and bask in the glow of gratitude and satisfaction!

re-entry into life–woohoo! here are some things:

    1. plan a vacation getaway with hubby and son (even if for a long weekend) Smoky Mountains, Austin, Athens GA,..just to name a few

    2. start some projects at home (things to paint, things to hang on the wall, etc) this is like meditation for me

    3. go to the flea market!!!

    4. lend a hand at the school my youngest is at (finally!!!)

    5. try a new restaurant with my hubby

    6. finally use some of those gift cards burning a hole in my wallet!!

    7. visit my oldest at school (he is a sophomore in college)

    8. Give away anything Becker, Yaeger, etc!!

ok, I am sure you get it…what is the first thing? EVERYTHING!!

relative got some Dom Perignon champagne as a gift and suggested we open it when I find out I passed my last part

I'm a Scotch and Cigar guy, so a bottle of Blue Label and some Cubans would be appropriate for your last part. Started my fund for that when I started studying about 2 years ago so it doesn't brick my account when I pass.

Waiting on the last part currently.

Im a scotch and cigar guy too. My brother-in-law hinted that he has gotten a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue for when I pass, and I will definitely enjoy a fine cigar as well.

Other than that, I am going to start to lose some of the 15 LBs I gained while studying for the past year and ignoring the gym, and spend more time with my 8 month old daughter who has me wrapped around her little finger.

I've been so close to passing and being done before that I could almost taste it.

Honestly, I try not to get my hopes up and let myself go there. I bought a nice bottle of champagne the other day *just in case*.

I will cry. A lot. Then I'll call everyone in my family, and then post it on Facebook. I'll tell everyone at work! I'll plan a celebratory dinner with my family, and one alone with my amazingly supportive fiance.

I'm thinking that I didn't pass this time around, but it's nice to fantasize about what I'll do once I do pass.

I have a family dinner at a habachi grill on mind too. I also have a $100 sweep stake for anyone in my family who guesses the closest to the actual score.

Probably going to look at my score. Then hit F5 a few times for old times sake. Look at my score again. Then probably say something along the lines of “Well… that was fun”. Then I'll wish I would have said something more clever. Its going to be very anticlimactic 🙁

    lol @ funnyorCPA

Since you already think you're going to have an anticlimactic moment, maybe you could prepare by thinking of something SUPER clever to say. Don't ask me for help though, because I'm pretty sure I'm just going to be a big sob fest when I finally pass. 🙂
