Okay, all of you veteran test takers out there, let’s put together an easy reference guide that won’t be lost in the score release thread. A71 score release thread will most likely be the first place it is announced to the cyber world that scores are released. So follow the thread closely.

Add to this as you see fit 🙂 Link back to is in the score release thread.

    1. The 3 digits are the first three digits of your NTS. Scores are released one exam section at a time, by NTS until the entire section has been released. Then on to the next sections. The exam sections are released in a surprise order.

    2. The BEC “bubble”. If the BEC scores are released and you didn’t receive yours, you are on the bubble. Your score is borderline, and your WC will be reviewed. It could take up to a week to get your score. Sorry, hang in there, it can still go either way.

    3. KNOW IF YOUR STATE IS NASBA or not.

    4. CA is not NASBA. If you are testing in CA and you see the scores are released for your exam, check the CBA site the next morning. CA scores are released ONCE PER DAY. If they aren’t up around 6 am on the west coast, they aren’t going to be up that day.

    GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Don't send your application to test again until you receive your score. If the Board approves your re-test before the score, and you failed, you will not be able to select that exam. SO you would have to dish out another $50 to re-apply…

@poike I feel it's 50/50 because the testing window got extended. There's a blog I've read in NINJA (I forgot what title of the thread), it's recently posted by Jeff and the blogger stated that she took the exam this week.

Off-topic: the testing center rejected her initially because they can't find her in the records. She was able to take it 45 minutes later. Confidence killer I might say.

    FAR - 92 02/2013
    AUD - 90 05/2013
    REG - 85 10/2013
    BEC - 80 12/2013

    I'M DONE. THANK YOU LORD!

Extended windows do not change the Wave 3 score release.

There will be a Wave 4 for the folks that tested in March.

I'm hoping we get scores tomorrow. It would be a National Cereal Day miracle!

Getting the thread back on track here…days in the testing window (i.e. 1-20, 21-45, 46-close) are calendar days. Business days only apply for the actual score release date (and apparently NASBA and the AICPA have a different definition of business days than the rest of us).

If you want to avoid having to hit f5 all day for the score release thread then rss feed the thread topic to your outlook if you use that. It will automatically refresh when it is set to send/receive. I keep that open on my computer at work and periodically go there and just scroll up through the messages with my auto preview screen on. Saves tons of time for you to be able to f5 the nasba page!

I'm avoiding the F5 this score release by delegating that duty to Sandra. I'm gonna make a GREAT boss one day. She gets to stress and panic (but she works best under extreme pressure), and I can get some work done and possibly drink some wine and not worry (I don't work well under pressure)! Life is good for me. I just hope she isn't too freaked out by a failing score, because she's NEVER seen one! I guess there really is a first time for everything.

My goal is not to check my score until 2:00 tomorrow. That is my GOAL. For the past three score releases my scores came out a day before the official date at 2:00pm. I am having lunch with a friend tomorrow, so that will help.

so will I get an email from NASBA or what? How exactly does this work?

@000ooo since a lot of people kept on pressing f5 for the score release date, I assume that email from NASBA has some sort of delay along with other reliable source of documents. I think they rely more on this site for the announcement of scores than the official website.

@henryv so they will email? Just not as quickly as if I were mashing that f5 button on the above link (https://ncd.nasba.org/gwprdv2/servlet/hgwcs01), and I assume that link is in the email because I haven't been able to get there by just web surfing.

    Thanks
