yes like I said in the title, it was very slow to select an answer, to move forward or back, it was a disaster in the simulation section, I saw the word ” not responding” many times through the test , then I had to wait about 30 seconds every time to respond again.

I reported the matter to Prometric officials and then by email to NASBA

NASBA replied and said that they will investigate the matter, this was 2 months ago and they didn’t contact me anytime to know the result of investigations.

My performance was affected by the breakdown in the computer and this will be too unfair if I didn’t pass

this was in my AUD exam on July 24 in NYC

    anyone heard about similar story?

Yeah, based on anecdotal evidence, it seems there has been more computer crashes/problems compared to before. Hard to tell whether its true though, may just more people are using Another 71 or other online sources to post about their experiences.

I wish the AICPA would disclose the number of computer problems reported, re-takes issued and the pass rates of those affected in comparison to regular pass rates. That would put the rumors to rest. Oh well, hope you pass anyway.

Passed AUD, BEC & FAR. Lost credit for AUD & BEC once. Finally finished with REG as dessert. 15 times was the charm.

    AUD: 86
    FAR: 81
    BEC: 80
    REG: 76

I am not surprised that NASBA hasn't contacted you but if I were you, I would contact them to find out the results of the investigation.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

I haven't taken AUD yet, but I took BEC at that center (Penn Plaza – 17th Floor) and didn't have any issues. I wonder if it was just your computer, or maybe something specific to the AUD exam.

I think it was only this computer and I'm sure they fixed it lately, the problem is regardless the reason, my performance was materially affected
