    @CPmyA, thanks for sending the letter, but I don't think anything good or productive is going to come up (I hope I am wrong on this one)…the director might send you a very formal and impersonal letter stating the reasons why they are not a NASBA state, and I bet you a donut, they will be saying things like “We strongly believe being an indie state instead of NASBA enable us to serve our Texas CPA and candidates better.”

    not me. Houston here, but I am thinking, if I pass BEC, I might take FAR in Dallas. I took BEC in Austin, and it turned out to be a nice mini trip. I plan to take REG in San Antonio. :-). just trying to add a little bit spice into this boring CPA journey…

    What a fun idea CPA-Convertible….never thought of that……but I like the fact that I'm only like 2.5 miles from my testing center. It's an easy commute!
