Hi everyone, I haven’t actually posted on another71, but have used it as a resource to understand the test format/scoring in the past. I was just curious on how people felt about this most recent score, if you were surprised, disappointed, more motivated, reinvigorated to study, refreshed to know that it is possible to get through these tests (for those who just had there CPA V-card snipped up). Also it can be encouraging to voice and share in your fellow peers successes/processes and enlightening about what to do different in the future..

My advice for sections like AUD and BEC is to start to categorize the questions you notice you continuously get wrong.

For example, in AUD I kept getting the requirements behind Financial statement preparations, compilations and reviews mixed up and swore the questions were contradicting themselves. What I eventually did was open a copy of excel and put all the compilation questions together, all the F/S preparation questions together and all the review questions together. As I added to each section I got a clearer and clearer understanding of what the questions were really trying to ask and what kind of tricks they were using. It literally turned my weak areas into strengths.

    Good luck everyone!
