Sitting on pins and needles for you guys!! I honestly don’t know how yall are managing the stress right now. It will all be over soon….and in a good way. Don’t give up hope for a score release tonight. It happened to me when I was waiting on my REG score. I had given up for the night and fell asleep in the chair with the dog. When I woke up about 1:00 a.m. the REG score was there.

Hey thanks candothis! I'm actually moving Saturday so packing up my place has kept me distracted for now. But when I'm at work I stalk this site like none other lol I so wish we had our scores already this is a little extra torture. I have a feeling the nightmares will start tonight…. Hey tootsie, last round, I viewed lectures, wrote notes, did mcs, wrote notes. There were questions on the exam from left field that I had never seen before. I wonder if I should switch materials? Been using wiley the last six testing windows.

I use Becker and like it. I recommend it. I think they do a pretty good job explaining topics and giving lots of practice questions (similar to exam questions). I read the text, write notes and read them over and over again. I am detailed in my note-taking, but not with the minor topics, such as all the IT terms (there are too many to know, but if you have a general understanding and use process of elimination, you should be okay).

I had a lot of computational questions on the exam that were difficult for me because I didn't know the formula, or could not get the right answer, but I think I nailed the conceptual questions. Really try and focus on the meanings of the formulas and understand the topics (try to think of real-life examples that relate to them, this helped me tremendously).

What areas do you struggle with? For me, it was variances.

@tootsie, I am definitely going to try becker this time. I tried it the first time and got a 69. I just didn't like the lecture style for becker. however, I will give it another shot. *sigh…

I see you applied for BEC!! Yeh!

I really hope you can purchase Becker. I used Becker for all four parts and supplemented FAR with the NINJA audio and notes. The NINJA audio was a tremendous help. I loaded it on my computer at work and listened to it over and over and over. If you haven't already, I would encourage you to utilize some form of audio material for BEC whether it be your own voice recorder or if you purchase the NINJA audio. It gives you an additional avenue of studying in that you can study anywhere and maximize your time. Record anything you feel is necessary. I would record all mnemonics, basically anything the material said to memorize and would add things I was struggling with. If you have to take a break and go to the mailbox, do laundry or whatever, you have the audio with you. I used to listen to mine in the sunbed, at Walmart, the mall and even mowing the yard. When I was out in public, I would have earplugs in as I was walking around. I used to think that folks would wonder if I were some type of security or work for the FBI. I would get some weird looks! I started using my voice recorder when I had to take AUD for the second time and used it for every part thereafter.

I see that you have taken nine exams. I took AUD twice, BEC and REG four times each and FAR three times. A total of thirteen exams. You have the Desire, Determination, Dedication and Discipline. Now go out and kick ass.
