Still testing…in March?

Anybody know why some (or all?) test centers are still testing through Saturday, March 5th? I just went on the prometric website to see what times are available for April testing and there are still a few days in March open. Does that mean that our scores will be delayed even that much longer? Maybe they extended the testing window due to snow days? I’m in WA state.

If I would have known that was an option I would have gladly taken another week to study!

Jeff, have you heard anything about this and a delaying in the releasing of the exam scores?

I live in Dallas and the Prometric site does show seat availability for the CPA exam on March 5th and 6th. First, that makes me upset because I could have re-scheduled had I know, and taken an extra week to study for my exam which I just took yesterday (the assumed last day of the testing window). If my scores are passing in a few weeks ,then I won't be upset….but until then, I am pissed! Ahhhhh!

I realize there is no “2nd ” to my “First” above. Ahhhhhh! These exams are making me crazy…the only conversations I have are with Peter Olinto, Tim Gearty, and another71.com message board.

WHAT??? If our scores are delayed.. this isn't fair.. If we fail a part we are going to have to wait for a new NTS and not be able to schedule in time for early April. Hm! Geez. They should just give all of us a passing grade!! 🙂

I agree with the general comment that this sucks…But then again at least a few lucky CPA candidates will have caught a break. Good luck to those that are taking the exam in the coming days…This has been a pretty crazy window for all.

This is BS. Wished I would have known. A few more days of studying would have helped.

Ya. I rescheduled mine on feb 26 for Feb 28 120 miles away(no open seats at my local center)..paid for hotel and the 88 dollar reschedule fee… and took a day off for the 2 extra study days…I look at my local prometric center 10 miles away and they got openings till march 6. I was happy for 2 extra days of review but blah…9 days would've been HYPE!!! I wish they announced this earlier.

If they release the scores in the middle of March, we'll definitely know that the score release delay is a bunch of crap.
