Does everyone begin to study for a new section while waiting for the release of scores from another section. Or do you wait in case you have to study again to re-take?

I'm waiting on a score from 1/3, took another one on 1/31 and have started studying for 2/29. in short, you've got to move on. You can't take the section you're waiting for again (if you happen to not pass) until 4/1 at the earliest, so you might as well try to move on to the next section if you've got multiple sections still to pass.

Starting all over.

Yes I always moved on the next section while I was waiting. Would have gone stir crazy if I didn't!

I did. After I took FAR, I immediately dove into AUD. Then after I took AUD, I immediately studied for REG even though both my FAR and AUD results were still pending. It was painful. It was even more painful studying for BEC immediately after I took REG because I walked out of the test room knowing that I failed for sure.

I didn't start studying REG until I got my results for BEC, and didn't start studying AUD until I got my REG results back. Now I'm cramming in FAR while waiting for AUD because I wasted too much time waiting to begin with. Simply put: keep moving on.

I just took BEC for the second time on 1/7, and this is my first section. So I guess I was waiting to see if I passed this time to begin studying because the clock doesn't start ticking until you pass your first section. But I suppose I should start studying for the next section now. Thanks!

@Stay_Positive I just took my first section of FAR a couple days ago. Like you, my 18 month timer doesn't start ticking until I pass my first section, which is FAR for me. I studied 6 months for FAR after rescheduling about 3 or 4 times because I just never felt ready and then I just came to the conclusion that I will never feel 100% ready for FAR, so just go for it and see what happens. How many FAR candidates do feel 100% ready for their first time and first section anyways? Probably less than 10%. Since I studied for so long and put so much pressure on myself to study hard everyday and pass that when I finished taking my exam I had this huge pressure & weight lifted off of me. I can use the 2 weeks until my score is released to relax are start exercising again b/c I probably gained around 10 pounds from studying all day. No exam or job is worth your health. If you don't have your health, then what do you have? Besides I felt horrible about my first attempt at FAR anyway.

Regardless, I have to wait 2 weeks to find out how I scored. I personally feel like there's no way I passed because I never felt like I had enough time to figure out the hard multiple choice questions and hard Sims. So since I have a really bad feeling about my FAR exam score I am not studying for my next section of AUD because I'm betting I failed FAR. I know myself better than anyone else. I am always the last student to finish a test in college and I need as much time as I am allowed plus more. When I take an exam I tend to forget a lot of the information I studied because I know there isn't enough time to truly figure out the problem on my scratch paper the way I'd like to. So I am using those 2 weeks while waiting for my FAR score to review my FAR notes and document all the topics I remembered being tested on at the testing center. This will help me to know what I am weak on for next time. I want to review my FAR experience while its fresh in my head and write down everything I need to improve on. If I went studying for a different section like AUD I would also have all that new material to confuse me with the FAR material that I'm betting I still need to study all over again.

The only way I could've received a 75 on my first FAR exam was if the other candidates who took the exam during my testing window did very very poorly from not studying during the holidays. I hear from a lot of people on this forum that your score depends on the total population of people who tested during the same testing window as you did. So it's curved in a sense. Even knowing it's curved, I still am still doubtful I got a 75.
