I’m getting worried we won’t get out scores tomorrow. It’s completely ridiculous that they have had a whole month to grade my exam….

agreed, even though i havent taken my exam yet and wont get grades until the next wave of releases, its 2014..results should be almost instantaneous.

Somebody here emailed them and asked why it takes so long, and they gave a long answer having to do with score validation. Test score validation is pretty interesting to read about if you Google it.

yeah, after they replaced the score page with the countdown timer I gave up hope for early release. it'll be a pleasant surprise if they're out tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath.

Well honestly if that's the case you all have nobody to blame but yourselves with your itchy F5 trigger fingers. NASBA had a crash one too many times and now they are just cutting you off. Still rooting for an early release but I honestly don't blame them if they just put an end to the whole lot and release them when they publish they will…

I may be wrong but I honestly don't think NASBA usually releases ‘early' to be nice us.. I've always figured they just want a buffer in case something goes wrong (like last window) they have time to fix it by the official release date. Hopefully this is the case and has not changed (and they release tomorrow)!!

Yes, that's what I've assumed– that they do it ahead of time to make sure they meet the target date. I guess they didn't count on people checking early just in case, and then the word getting out that it usually really comes out the day before.

I think what we need to be focused on is how evil they are for posting the scores on election day. Like we all won't be stressed already. I have a feeling that tomorrow is going to be a very emotional day for me…

@How many letters do you need: I disagree with your assessment. Each test taker pays an exorbitant fee to take this exam. As far as we know, NASBA still has some kind of incredulous and archaic system of batch processing that creates havoc each release day. The single reprieve was that they came a day earlier than promised. Those footing the bill shouldn't be blamed or penalized for the repeated technology fails of a system that neither works nor has been properly explained. They know the load coming on release day, and they should adjust to it.

If there was a shred of transparency in this entire process, I would be the first one to step up and ask everyone to cut NASBA a break. But it's inexcusable that 10,000-15,000 records can't be uploaded instantly in 2014. I'm hoping this is the beginning of a positive change for NASBA, but if the timer hits zero, everyone gets their scores at once, and there are no glitches or crazy drama this release, I will be shocked.
