So I took AUD this morning and I figured I’d share with everyone (my take on it and if there’s anything useful that anyone can get out of my rant)

Firstly, was afraid that the test center would be closed ’cause of Irene but it wasn’t thankfully.

3 testlets – 1st one was okay, no surprising topics, definitely things I’ve seen before

2nd testlet got harder. some questions it took me reading the question a few times to process what they were asking

3rd one, i actually wasn’t sure if it was hard or medium-hard. may have been med-hard

i went into the simulations with 2 hours left. 2 research tabs (does anyone know if that means one is the obvious pre-test and is getting thrown out or if there’s still a chance that another question is the pre-test?) 1 of the research questions was tricky. i got it but it definitely took a good 15-20 minutes to find it – thankfully I had the time for it

some of the simulations were definitely doable – i know i got them right but some of the other ones I know I messed up on (WHY IS FAR ON THIS EXAM?? AHH!)

Otherwise, don’t know what else to say. Hope I passed. It’s my first round on all 4 parts and first time taking AUD today.

not sure what to make of your 2 research, but i took aud last week and had only one. AICPA magic blackbox grading may be able to consider 2 tests with different amounts of research sims “comparable/uniform” so yours both might have counted; but it's impossible to ever know for sure.

@Ms CEO – Having 2 research questions doesn't mean that one is definitely the pretest SIM. It could be one of the others.

I just took Audit, wasn't too bad. I had a number of questions that I had seen word for word in Becker. I got one question 3 times, the exact same question. It took me about 90 mins to do the MCQ and an hour for the SIMS. I also had 2 research questions. One SIMS everyone told me to memorize that topic, and I didn't but I was able to get the answer from the research tab.
