    @KasiaS and all other members of the Red Panty Revolution listen up!!!

    I think everyone should don his/her red panties/briefs in solidarity ! Come on, it makes sense, it seems only fitting that we put them on while awaiting scores. Full circle and all that……..doesn’t that make sense?????

    Who’s with me???? (….anyone….???) LOL!

    @MyLifeisCpa,

    I am so bummed for you. I was really pulling for ya. We both got the dreaded 74. I would like to say that I know how you feel, but everyone has different circumstances that really make it different for each person. Take some time to figure out a game plan, and get back on that horse again. You CAN do it. REALLY!!!! It ain't over till its over! I will see ya on the Audit thread. πŸ™‚

    Thanks Yankee!!! My score reports says I was comparable on the SIMS which I thought I bummed and weaker on MCQS which I thought I did fairly good on. Who knows. Yea, I guess I will be taking AUD & REG the next window.

    @mylifeiscpa, I'm so sorry about the dreaded 74. I know 2012 will be your year. If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know.

    As for the rest od the red Panty brigade, I'm done. The panties can officially be retired for me. Never fear, I will continue to cheer you on as you finish your journeys.

    @myLifeisCPA, I am so sorry to hear that, I totally understand how you feel and you will get passing score next time.

    I am happy to share my journey is over, red panties did its magic! It is surreal feeling. I keep on going back to website and check the score.

    This something I have been doing for 18 months and I have not passed none of the parts for the first time, it has been a long and hard journey (look at my score track below) and without you guys and support of my family and friends that would have been tough.

    For those still taking test, this is something worth it, nobody will take it away from you and the feeling at the end is surreal, awesome, can't really describe it. Persistence will pay off.

    Thank you all again for the congrats! And congratulations to Agniecha on being done as well! I totally missed that in your signature earlier!!!

    @nailcpa, I'll try to answer all your questions:

    1. how you prepared for the exam? All credit goes to NIU Correspondence CPA Review. If you follow their formula, you're nearly guaranteed to pass. The formula is: listen to all lectures, read handouts, work problems in handouts & quizzes on blackboard, re-read handouts. I also made notecards for the topics I was weak in and reviewed those on my trip in to the exam so that information was fresh in my head.

    2. Was there any luck involved or you really feel well deserved for all the hardwork? I think it was a mix of both. Granted, NIU did a spectacular job of preparing me for even the most obscure topics but I'm sure there was some luck in there as well since there were questions I most definitely was shooting in the dark. Perhaps the questions I was getting wrong happened to also be pretest… but I think each passing score was mainly the result of serious dedication to the review process.

    3. Do you guys work full time? Yes.

    4. how many hr/day did you devote? Mon-Fri about 3-5 hours, Sat/Sun 6 hours per day. Sometimes less, sometimes more depending on what life threw at me.

    5. Were you super focused/devoted with no life other than CPA mcq's? Yes, I was seriously devoted to the review with the exception of 2 nights per week. I spent every Saturday night with my boyfriend, and had one night during the workweek when I allowed myself to go out with a friend or just be a couch potato. The most important part was that every hour I put into the studies was quality time with the books. I was more focused on that than the amount of hours/MCQs I knocked out.
