That's cool @nbad311! So creative! I'm horribly unimaginative. I pretend to be… tonight I'm going to make cupcakes for a work Halloween party tomorrow. I'm thinking of doing ‘octopuses' on top (made out of a tootsie pop for a head, and gummy worms for tentacles) and maybe some Jack Skellington faces on some of them. I saw these online, so I can't chalk it up to my own creativity 😛

    R - *77*(02/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    A - 71('11); *87*(04/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    F - *76*(08/'13)-Becker & NINJA - "server upgrade" survivor
    B - 60('11); *82*(10/'13) -Becker & NINA

    DONE, DONE, AND DONE.

@DJN You passed 3 sections of CPA exam so far in this year. Looks like a complete success. What is the secret of your success? Do you work full time or just studying? Please share your experiene. I am taking FAR and AUD next year. Any advice for FAR prep? Its going really slow on my side due to a full time job and family. The volume of information you need to know on FAR section is killing. I don't see any easy way to overcome FAR beast. It's going to be rough and tough. I still have a very long way to go. I am using Yaeger, Ninja Audio/notes and Wiley TB. I will welcome comments from everyone who passed 3 or more sections within one year.

Brentton James, the ethics test was pretty lame frankly. I did miss two #38 and #40 out of 40 questions, so you can see my interest definitely flagged there at the end, LOL. Are you in Illinois? If so, you can going the IL CPA Society for $100 and then get $75 off the ethics exam, so you're basically paying $25 for a year's membership in the ILCPAS.

IB553, I work 30 hours a week in finance. Study time for me was after work and every weekend. Every weekend… Blah. AUD and BEC were much easier for me than REG, and by the time I got done with REG I was a little burned out so I took extra time for FAR. Yes, there is a ton of material for FAR but I found it to be pretty straightforward. Also, I'm not an accountant and I don't have an accounting degree so FAR was particularly difficult in terms of material for me only because it was all foreign. But “it is what it is.” In retrospect I think REG was harder. Let's see come early November though what my score is on FAR before you take any advice from me, LOL. And there are others on here who have done all of the exams in a short period, so hopefully they will chime in with some words of wisdom for you.

@DJN Thanks for your feedback. It gives me some hope after hearing that you managed to pass 3 exams with a job. I am pretty sure you will pass FAR with flying colors. I do have a degree in Accounting but it was many years ago. So, I don't remember everything from study time. How many hours would you suggest me to study every week for FAR? I have been trying to study 20 hours every week for FAR. How many questions did you took in WTB for each module or section? I have been experiencing trouble with SIMS on WTB. Wiley is still looking into it. Hope they will fix it soon. Did you used any additional software for SIMS?

IB553 – I used Becker for all four sections and supplemented with the WTB for BEC, REG and FAR (didn't use it for AUD). I did all of the sims in the Becker software and some of the WTB sims, but not all (ran out of time!).

For how many hours of study… boy… I really can't really answer that for you unfortunately.
