Guys, I am freaking out. I'm on my last section REG…I thought going into the exam that I was for sure going to FAIL…but I came out more confident than I felt the first time (when I came out knowing I failed) and somewhat hopeful. This wait has been the worst…still more than a week to go.

I've let myself start thinking of what I would do after exams…I can almost feel how great it would fee to see another 75…but I feel like even allowing myself to have those thoughts is bad…because more than likely I will get that sinking feeling in the stomach when I see the score and be dissappointed at the score.

This score release is either going to send me through the stratosphere with joy or depths of misery. I've never anticipated a score release so much. Thing is I feel like i've been SUPER lucky to scrape by with not one, but TWO 75s there is NO way I could pull off a third one is there? I can't see that I did better in REG than BEC or FAR either…so I don't know.

Just going to pray, keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best and expect the worst. >_<

    @CPAforeigner

I feel your pain and that of everyone else here waiting.

I took my first attempt at my last section in July. I waited 2-3 weeks and then came up with a 74. It was like a punch in the face as I was mentally prepared to move onto the CMA exam and other things that are going on. After studying that hard, and to be so close to being done and coming up short, it was tough.

Now, I'm here waiting a little over 4 weeks for my second attempt. I could have scheduled the test for later in the period but I was so angry at my fail that I wanted to get back in there and try again as soon as possible so I didn't lose too much of the info.

At this point, I just remind myself that I did the best I could and it's out of my hands. It's nice to be on this board where other people get what it's like. My girl, family, and friends just don't get the stress and frustration.

Here's to hoping we all have some good news next Friday.

I bookmarked my score checking site on my browser bar with the name “YOU PASSED!!!” Positive thinking right?

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

LOL Amay, I changed one of my passwords (not to this site!) to AlmostaCPA1 a couple weeks ago.

I am a bit confused why the release date is so late for this window…usually they say 6 business days from the end of the window, but why is the first 20 days at 11 days?

Not a big deal but just curious.

According to someone who took the exam back in the 90's when you could only take the exam twice a year, you used to have to wait like 2 months to get your score. I guess I'll try to be a little more patient.

    REG - 5/29/12 (64), 10/1/12 (74), 5/20/13 (75, expires 12/31/14)
    FAR - 8/14/12 (64), 8/5/14 (75)
    BEC - 11/19/12 (70), 2/25/13 (72), 11/21/13 (73), 1/21/14 (73), 8/30/14 (72), 11/24/14 (75)
    AUD - 4/22/13 (65), 10/12/13 (79)

    I'm done!!!

LOL but times have changed. That dinosaur didn't have instant access to everything like we do.

    I want instant gratification!!!!
