Hi Ninjas. Thanks to Ninja Notes, Ninja Audio, and Flash Cards I am 3 for 3 on CPA Exams. In the 2013 calendar year, have passed AUD, BEC, and now FAR. I run a financial services company, have been out of school 17 years and am married with three kids. The successful recipe of studying has been as follows. I break in the new material by listening to Ninja Audio on my commute and reading / writing the notes for a new topic. I then hack through the MCQ in the Wiley test booklet on the chapter. Then I listen to the most boring audio on the corresponding chapter put out by Yeager . Then I hit the Wiley online test bank questions which seem to be easier then the ones in the book. Then, move on to the next topic. Once I'm through everything once using that process I simply write and re-write the notes and do MCQ. I chose the user name chippingaway because that is part of the wisdom of succeeding with this exam and life. By using my commute and the audio, I get a few hours in everyday and a little more on the weekends. I would estimate that this process costs around $500 in materials per test. There has been much discussion on which order to take the exams. I took FAR third. If I didn't have the confidence in the process, I probably would have quit before I started given the volume of material. With much pride I am going to get out the AMEX and go buy the REG Notes and Audio! 1 more test for me and thanks to Another71 I have no worries.
