@Ancel: BEC I watched all of the lectures, did the highlighting, etc The only thing I did different with BEC than I did with FAR as I also wrote down the solutions to some of the questions I got wrong when I was going through the multiple choice. This obviously takes some time so I wouldn't recommend it under a time crunch but I think it proved to be a useful exercise. Additionally, I made a few flash cards for the mnemonics and some key concepts. The mnemonics for chapter 2 & 3 worked wonders! DADS, PURE, etc. I hated chapter 1 but I went back a few times and reworked questions and got better at identifying which part of the PHRASED C the questions were referring to etc.
For FAR, I watched all of the lectures and did the multiple choice for each section after I watched the video. I didn't make any flashcards or write anything down. I forgot about the simulations until the day before the exam so I worked a couple of them the day before. Then just flipped through the book looking for highlights or passkeys and made sure everything looked familiar.
I am scheduled to take Audit on Dec 6th! I hate this section! So boring and not engaging whatsoever. Haha that's probably just the tax accountant in me though. Good luck with your test and push it out a couple days if you need it! It does suck we have to wait longer but I would rather have a few extra days to study!
