I believe Florida Atlantic also has an online MBT. I should've considered them before jumping into GGU's MBT.. UGH.. sometimes I wish I just chose to go for my MAcc at a different school. GGU's MBT is not worth the close to $3K you pay per class and their mandatory proprietary “printed materials”..

@eangle Is that release correct. It seemed that someone had mentioned NASBA said that was not accurate and somebody had started rumors. Either way; this entire process seems a bit poor. Perhaps we should all become part of the NASBA committee once we pass our respective exams:)

@ eangle – unfortunately busy season literally never ends for me. we do only international tax so we have all the “weird” US deadlines plus urgent stuff that we have to do — for instance right now i have 2 expatriation tax returns due Dec. 15th and 2 other huge (seriously… unbelievably huge) amended return projects that we need to file by Dec. 31. My only hope is that I can finish everything before the holidays…
a coworker is doing the program and has managed to take 1-2 classes a time even through all the busy times, so i think i will get by 🙂
@ nancykchae – interesting to hear that. i was a little curious before getting started what the quality of instruction would be. my coworker does the live classes and loves them. i wonder if i will be happy with online.

@Matthewjc – I called NASBA this morning and they told me they're not having ANY issues on their side. When I told them CBA stated that there was a NASBA transmission error, NASBA told me someone's “starting rumors.”
