Guys CA is up. It says Advisory score next to mine at the bottom. On the top the table is empty. What does it mean?

I was a wreck on Monday waiting for my test score. I check the NASBA website and they have an advisory score of 79 (woohoo!) for me on the BEC exam that I took in November.

Last time I took an exam (Feb 2012 – failed FAR), I got an email outlining my score. I have yet to receive an email. Is a delay (presumably from the state board) like this normal when NASBA has released my score?

    BEC: 79! (Nov 2013)
    FAR: 66 (Jan 2012), Rematch July 2014
    AUD: 61 (Jan 2014), 86 (May 2014)
    REG: TBD

@KFu, it is my understanding that if you pass you do not get the outline showing the breakdown how you did in each area, but just your score.

Posted this in the Dec 1-6 Testing Window Forum as well:

Someone asked this on the AICPA blog and the corresponding response:

Is it possible for the candidates who took exam in the window periods of 12/1-12/6 to receive score much sooner than the target date of 12/20? Also, are there still testing for other reasons administered this week(12/9-12/14)?

We expanded the Fall 2013 testing window for the Uniform CPA Examination through Dec. 6 as a candidate convenience resulting from the late Thanksgiving holiday this year. There are no plans to extend beyond that date. The target score release date for candidates testing between Dec. 1 and 6 is Dec. 20. It is possible to receive scores earlier than the target date.

Seems like I saw that some folks that took the exam in the extended window last year got their scores as early as December 13 last year, which means in theory some folks might start seeing results tomorrow. Of course, some states had some issues with snow last week and people late in the extended window had to reschedule, so I'm not sure if that will delay results at all, or perhaps only for certain states.

The extended window last year didn't have a release date I don't think. At least it didn't on the 2012 AICPA timetable. This year it does.

I'm usually not that anxious waiting on releases, but I have been for this one. I'm pretty sure I didn't pass, but it's the last one.
