    Guys CA is up. It says Advisory score next to mine at the bottom. On the top the table is empty. What does it mean?

    G3 – I am actually from NY and took the exam before the 150 credits requirement went into effect (I have 145). Not sure if they are the same….TX has the 150 plus you have to pass ethics, right?

    Yes, after the exam, an ethics exam has to be passed (hopefully, not such a nightmare as this), and a full year of work experience under a licensed cpa has to be completed.

    Does NY have a work requirement?

    G3 – Here are the requirement for folks that are grandfathered in NY.

    An applicant for licensure who met the eligibility requirements for grand-parenting under New York's 120 semester hour education requirements must document at least two years of full time experience (or the part-time equivalent), as described in the paragraph above. An applicant who is eligible for grand-parenting may choose to take the additional course work required to meet the 150 semester hour requirements and thereby qualify for a one year reduction in the experience requirement. Such an applicant must have his/her schools submit official transcripts documenting the additional course work to the Education Department for review when he/she submits documentation experience documentation (Forms 4 and 4B)
