    I had a dream that today was the score release and was nervous about opening up my laptop… sigh.

    Anyways, question to y'all:

    I'm a Texan and heard from another fellow Texan that our scores are “curved” to solely Texas residents and not the rest of the country. Does anyone know if this is true? The only logic I could think is the natural “curving” process they do would be to group all NASBA states together and then non-NASBA states such as CA or TX would be intra-state as opposed to inter-state.

    Any input appreciated.

    I think that its for all the states. I don't think that would be split by State. Who knows lol.

    Tuesday can't come soon enough… Less than 24 hours for the NASBA states and then …. we are next!!!

    @ Fishy – Stressed out just like you. accept I am not going the key.. I am busy ripping out the old carpets in the house to relieve my stress… 😀

    Anyone leave the testing center feeling “ok” but the longer we wait for score release, the more you doubt yourself? Maybe I felt “ok” since I finally finished the test and managed my time better. Maybe I knew the material better. Maybe I need to stop talking to myself thru this post. Lol. Either way, good luck guys!

    @Bobcat87 — I have never heard this before. I wouldn't think that would be fair, but the secrecy of the scoring makes it impossible to know for sure.

    My personal thought is that some states don't have accounting boards that are equipped to handle the score distribution, etc., so they allow the NASBA to take care of their registration and score distribution. Texas, being an independent broad, likes to do that herself. I would guess that the states have to pay NASBA some fee for their services, and Texas would rather handle it internally. I can't see how the score would be curved differently, but I wouldn't be surprised if Texas runs an additional diagnostic test for accuracy.

    It's really a complete guessing game, though. This is just what I've hypothesized through my (long and tortuous) (and hopefully ENDING) exam taking experience.

    I'm going to be trolling the NASBA thread all day. If their scores do come out today, then my clock starts ticking for Wednesday morning at 4:00 am. I've been having score release nightmares all week. 🙁
