AnonymousInactive@Kels I'm so sorry!! I do think you should do what you really want to do. When I got my failing score the other day, my mom asked me “Is it worth it?” I said YES. I want to be an auditor and I want the CPA next to my name. I'm completing this journey and I'm doing it for me. So you really need to do what you want to do. Like Baxter said, we'll all be here for you if you do decide to pick it back up again!

kels417Member(I apologize if this doesn't all make sense. I've been hitting the bottle pretty hard since about 6)
Wow. Thank you, everyone! I so very much appreciate all of your words of wisdom and encouragement.
Gator – REG expires 2/28/15. A full year. My concern is that I studied and passed REG while i was unemployed. I couldn't get FAR passed while unemployed and now that I have a job, I fear that I won't be able to do it. BEC and Audit, I think I could knock out again if I really put in the time again. I just have to decide if that's what I want. At this point my heart jsut isnt' in it.
Baxter – you are so sweet. I love this site because it is people who understand. I appreciate your post more than you know.
Ancel – that sounds like a horrible situation. I do promise you that I will think about it more once this sting wears off.
Mints – thank you. 🙂
Thank all of you. So much. And Jeff – thank you for this forum. It helps so much to commiserate with others!

kels417MemberThanks, Clarissa. I have repeatedly asked myself that question….for 4 years. My answer has always been yes, but I'm tired. So very tired. We shall see. I may get bored and change my mind!

GatorbatesParticipantAs weird as this may sound, good for you for hitting the bottle. It helps tremendously during times like these. Continue to hit FAR. Take it again in April. You have a year. If you passed FAR in April, I would think it would give you the confidence to pass BEC and AUD (again!). Take Baxter's advice, please. She's such an inspiration to everyone whose ever been on this site.
Licensed Florida CPA:
B: 71, 73, 79
A: 83
R: 78 (expired), 77
F: 74, 74, 80It's finally freaking over.

AnonymousInactiveI'm coming into the thread late, but fellow Oklahomans… I am so irritated at the lack of urgency in the OAB. I emailed yesterday asking if they would have scores out since the non-indies got their scores, to which they questioned how I would even know some people got their scores, and said I should have my score tomorrow (today)… so today I email and I get a response saying “They are due to be in your record tomorrow.” How do I petition that Oklahoma become an NASBA state? Seriously.

teeteenounoucheMember@kels417 sorry to hear about the exam result…I am rooting for you, when you get to a point and you hit a wall that you can't see or you have that nagging feeling you can't quite put your finger on, start fresh and get back to studying…you may want to try different study materials for each of the exams…I have found that different materials help me more than others depending on the section…please email me using my username at gmail if you want additional info…that bottle will not quiet the determination it took for you to get this far…I know from experience b/c I was approved to sit for the exam since 2004 and didn't actually sit for an exam section until 2012 because I used every excuse in the book, regret does not feel nice…
Florida:
AUD: 73, 81! Thank you Lord!
BEC: 73, 77! Thank you Lord! and WTB
REG: 71, 82! Thank you Lord! and A71
FAR: 72, 78! Thank you God and my Mommy in Heaven!CPA Excel, Ninja Notes & Audio, Wiley Test Bank, CPAreviewforfree

AnonymousInactiveI was not going to come back to this thread after finding out that I did not pass (no, I did not *fail*. I just didn't pass, ok? *sob*).
I saw your frustration. This is my first exam, so what I have experienced thus far is nothing compare to what you have gone through, and I can't say I know what it's like.
It might be a good idea to step back and have a break like other people say.
No words might cheer you up or motivate you right now,
I hope that you've just got stuck in a moment and you can't get out of it …eventually you can get yourself up and do it again sometime soon.
And if you EVER consider picking up your Ninja outfit and attack the castle of FAR, try Roger.
His energy is something we need during those gloomy Winter 😉
