Score Release Cut Off Dates

July 20th (a Saturday) is the cutoff date for the August 5th score release. I really want to cram audit in so I can get that score to possibly compensate for failing FAR (haha…kinda). Audit is my strength so I’m not too concerned about getting the studying done. That being said, if I take the exam that Friday, July 19th, do you think my score will make the cutoff date? I know if I take it that Thursday it will make it, but I think I will need the extra day.

The website said processing of exams is usually done within 24 hours, but I’m a little weary of that timeline (especially since it’s a Friday exam). Has anyone had experience in the past like this and did your score get released on the date you were hoping for?

    Thanks a lot.

aicpa website says they typically receive the exams 24-48 hours after completion. you are probably safe if you take it on July 19th, but i have no basis for this

don't underestimate any of the exam sections. working in (or being strong in) auditing or tax or the financial area does not guarantee a passing grade. You have to put in the time studying.

I've taken two tests on the cutoff date (20th) and received my scores in the first wave both times. It could be different in each state but I would think you'd be good on the 19th for sure.

I took one of my exams on the 19th and received my score in Wave 1 before. I know someone else who took their exam on the 20th and also received their score in Wave 1. It all depends on how quickly your Prometric site submits exams to be graded.
