Okay, so in my waiting for Friday I've done a little research on score release for the past 4 testing windows.

Format for the below information is as follows: “NASBA Release Schedule Date” – “Actual Release Date” – “Time Jeff Tweeted score release on actual date”

Note 1: #1 = Test taken in Day 1 – 20 of Window, #2 Day 21 – 45, #3 = Day 46 – Close of window

Note 2: There's only two instances of not releasing on the business day before the schedule release date and one was early, due to holiday (not sure about the other).

2012 – Q3

#1 8/6 – 8/3 – 9:38 AM

#2 8/22 – 8/21 – 12:06 PM

#3 9/11 – 9/10 – 10:23 AM

2012 – Q4

#1 11/5 – 11/8 – 10:23 AM (Released later than release schedule)

#2 11/26 – 11/21 – 10:48 AM (Released earlier than 1 business day before release schedule)

#3 12/8 – 12/7 – 12:01 PM

2013 – Q1

#1 2/5 – 2/4 – 5:18 PM

#2 2/25 – 2/22 – 12:26 PM

#3 3/11 – 3/8 – 1:08 PM

2013 – Q2

#1 5/6 – 5/3 – 10:42 AM

#2 5/23 – 5/22 – 10:52 AM

Starting to panic that I may not be done with this beast. Funny how you can go back and forth on how you feel the exam went. Agonizing.

If they don't control the pass rates, then why can't automatic scores be available for all but BEC? Hmmm

@PSU_CPA_Wannabe – FYI, the date in November that the scores were posted late was due to Hurricane Sandy I think. I can't remember if that was the testing window, but we all had to wait an extra few days than expected because the location that releases the scores had no power. Therefore, Jeff has been right about 99% of the time, aside from the earlier release date around Thanksgiving (and who would complain about an earlier release?)

Funny score release story…

For the May 3rd release day, my husband asked if he could have a copy of my NTS to help score stalk for Audit attempt #4. When scores started rolling out I was still at work and in meetings for the bulk of the afternoon. I was in with a client when my score posted and my husband called my office and told my secretary it was an EMERGENCY and that I needed to call him back immediately. Keep in mind that the week before my mother was in a horrible car accident (she walked away completely unharmed BTW) and upon hearing this I became instantly hysterical about the “emergency phone call” from husband!!! By the time I got him on the phone I was sobbing and thinking he was half dead on the side of the road somewhere, only for him to congratulate me on finally passing auditing in an awkward I really effed up sort of fashion!!! Needless to say, I laid down the law about what constitutes an “emergency phone call”! 😉

He's been warned that on Friday “emergency calls” that are not legit emergencies will earn you a night on the couch but updates for exam scores that are adequately disclosed are always appreciated!

I've never wanted Friday to be here so badly! Potentially my second to last score release, but focusing on BEC is very difficult when my REG score is looming so closely! Fingers crossed we all get great scores on Friday!!
