question for all – I just checked my score on the Nasba site – typed in my nts and date of birth and the only thing that showed up is the section I took – BEC. in the past when I would check early (knowing of course that there would be no score, just being strange me!) it would tell me the section I took AND the date I took it. now the date is blank. anyone know what that could mean?

or should I just not worry about it?

@OhioCPA3 and @NJ-NH Same thing here, but I'm sure it's fine. Worst case scenario, we get our scores on the the posted release date instead, the 10th.

Hi all,

So I took the exam Friday, and I have a bit of a dilemma and home someone can help. REG is my last exam and it was a killer for me. Anyways, I have no idea how I did but I am a little nervous bc during the sims, my computer just CRASHED. Needless to say I had a panic attack and rushed to the proctor, who informed me that once she restarts my computer, I would be able to resume my exam. However, once she started my exam again, the sim that I completed was completely blank.

I opened a case with NASBA care, and have not heard back yet, except for a response asking for my NTS. Someone told me that they will give me two options, 1. Retake the exam next window with the fee waived, but this will cancel my exam and I will never know what I scored. or 2. wait for my result (this friday) and if I failed, tough noogies.

I find both of these options completely unfair.I dont even kno if NASBA will even get back to me before the scores come out anyways. Has anyone experienced anything similar? What would you guys do if you were in my shoes?

That is quite a predicament. How do you feel overall about the exam? If you feel pessimistic retake it. If you feel optimistic it is up to you.

Was this REG? I never, ever, ever want to take REG again. That being said… Good luck with what you decide!

Lisamarie, yes indeed! Drinking/celebrating pass or fail! Good times no matter what! Flying in Thursday and staying till Tuesday. So can't wait!!! I'll be the crazy guy standing in the middle of Vegas strip yelling “I passed” like a psycho…. Or the guy on his knees crying but still yelling “why?!?!?!”.

@gim – that sucks…same exact thing happened to me in november. i completed 1-4 when I clicked 5 and the welcome prometric screen popped up.

i was only told to wait for my score and that i shouldn't click so fast through the sims next time. you predicament isn't any better but if you felt you had enough time to complete the test regardless of the crash – i would maybe go for it.

@thescrambler – did you pass? did they really blame the computer crashing on you clicking your mouse too fast? if i remember correctly, i wasnt even clicking on anything when it happened. I had just finished the sim and was a second from moving on when it crashed.

Why am I not surprised that they somehow spun it to be your fault? Don't click through the sims so quickly next time? What a joke! Maybe they should get hardware that can manage a very simple application. No accountability rofl, blaming the user for how they take the exam.

The NASBA score release schedule says that the target date is June 10th. From what I understand the results normally come out the day before, but that would be a Sunday. I read somewhere above that they would release on Friday! Is that correct?
