AnonymousInactiveEverybody who takes the test before the testing ends in may will be included in the june 7th score release.

lyzgraceMemberAh, my apologies then. I remember reading that the end of the month cutoff was the score acceptance date, not the test date. Meaning if you tested at 5:00 on the last day of the month then you would likely be under the “TBA” release.
AUD: 82

BEC: 75
REG: 8/1 score release!!May 30, 2013 at 2:00 pm #418999
pinkerton7384MemberI've been a long time visitor of Another 71, but haven't posted. I'm waiting for AUD results… I passed AUD and lost credit due to the 18 month rule, and I need to pass this or else I lose credit for BEC. Ugh.
I just want to point out that an acronym for these exams (BARF) is quite appropriate, since that what I want to do while waiting for the scores!
BEC - 75
AUD - 88
REG - 85
FAR - 75DONE!!!

lyzgraceMemberCan't edit my last post, so just wanted to add – I just got a score release schedule email from the AICPA and that's where I'd read that bit about the cutoff date. The 10th release date is for scores received by the end of the window, NOT test dates. So if I understand correctly, people testing in the last day or two of the window likely will not make the 10th release date. Just FYI, all =)

REG: 8/1 score release!!May 30, 2013 at 3:31 pm #419001
MCLKTParticipantlzygrace – that only applies for the first two windows. The last window is open for anyone that tests by the end of the month. There are only 3 releases for each quarter.
The extended release (4th) is only applicable sometimes. It is for any one that tests during a nontesting month (June) if the window has been extended for extreme circumstances. So if the window gets extended through June 7 because of the tornadoes, then anyone who tests June 1-8 will have scores released in an additional wave, the “extended wave”.
Anyone testing through May 31 will get their scores with the last testing window wave release.
June 7 for NASBA
June 8 for CA and some other nonNASBA
anyone on the BEC bubble could take an additional week.
If there is an extended window, those scores will come out probably June 14-17.
Good luck every one!!!!
I'm waiting on REG while I start to study for BEC 🙂

AnonymousInactive“In a vast majority of cases the AICPA will receive scoring data within 24 hours after a CPA candidate sits for the Exam. CPA candidates who wish to improve the certainty of the score release date are encouraged to take the Exam at least one or two days prior to the cutoff date.” AICPA website
So it looks like as long as you tested at least one or two days before applicable cutoff, then you should receive your test score(s) by the applicable target release date. June 7th can't get here fast enough!!
A – 73 (2.16.13); Waiting on score (5.25.13)
F – 83 (4.13.13)
B – Waiting on score (5.18.13)
R – 78 (expired 2.29.12); retake (July 13)

MCLKTParticipantEach quarter has 3 testing windows + a possible extension (4)
Window 1 = April 1st - 20th
If you test on the 19th or 20th, you may not be in this window.
AICPA may get your score on the 21st, and you would be in Window 2.Window 2 = April 21st - May 15th
If you test on the 14th or 15th you may not be in this widow.
AICPA may get your score on the 16th, and you would be in Window 3.Window 3 = May 16th -31st.
If you test on May 31st you are in this window.
You will get your score with the others. There will not be any other scores released.UNLESS…. you are on the BEC bubble, then it could take up to an additional week.
OR…. AICPA extends the testing window into June.
Then ONLY those actually sitting for the exam IN JUNE will be in the extended score release.
This is how it works.
Trust.

lyzgraceMemberYeesh! Sorry I opened that can o' worms, how confusing. Thanks MCKLT! A week and a half wait is so much better than waiting almost a month like I did for AUD… I'm just gonna schedule all of mine for the last day in the window from now on!

MCLKTParticipantOh I have a spreadsheet to keep it all straight!
I set it up for each quarter and plan my tests around release dates, lol.
Good luck on FAR lyzgrace! I know you studied a lot for it right when I was wrapping up my FAR studies. I'm sure you'll get good news 🙂
Unfortunately my NTS expires 7/9 so I will have a LOOOONNNG wait for my final score (assuming I get a 75+ on REG).

lyzgraceMemberUNGH, waiting is bad enough, but waiting that long for a final score has to be terrible! I've had a few NTS expire before I was ready, so now I'm studying beforehand and waiting 'til I'm close before I register. Of course, I had to take a 3:30PM Wednesday test instead of my usual 8:00AM Monday because I waited so long to schedule. That was irritating. You just can't win =)
Thanks for the luck wishes. Sending good vibes for your REG score, and good luck on BEC, you're in the home stretch!

mattcpafromvaMemberDo you think if I take a test tomorrow that I will get the June 7 release date?
Or does last day usually get the later release date.
