@ddrummond – I was wondering when I'd see a score from you! Congrats!!!!!! Full speed ahead now 🙂
@OhioCPA3 – hi! A few things- I worked in audit for almost two years so I was pretty comfortable with the subject already. The first time I took the test, honestly my NTS was expiring so I had to take it when I did- because of that I only had about 6 days to cram everything. I didn't even go through all of the MCQs in my book once. With that all being said- I added the ninja notes which I rewrite in my own words five times the week right before the exam. The few weeks before that I went through the problems in the book twice and reviewed my own notes from the book a few times. Then as I said I rewrote the ninja notes five times the week before and did about 6-7 practice exams on Wiley online as well! The night before the test I had my boyfriend quiz me on random things in the ninja notes and just knew I had it at the point! As for the actual day of the exam- make sure you really utilize the AL on the SIMs. I know that's what made me do so well! I answered all of the SIMs on my own then went back and looked up the answers in the AL. There were at least two SIMs I found answers word for word! AUD is great because I had tons of extra time (I went into the SIMs with 2.5 hours left on the test and ended up leaving the exam with 28 mins on the clock) so I was able to check my answers! I hope that helps 🙂 just make sure to review everything and not only the things you are shaky on. And do MCQs over and over and over- knew ones you haven't seen before are the most helpful! Also seriously get the ninja notes if you can afford it- you will NOT regret it. Good luck and you can do it!
