@ Gobias: So I take it by waves, you would mean like some get released at 3 PM, some at 4 PM and so on? And this has nothing to do with your score? And are most released in the first wave?
By waves I mean they start with one section and go in chronological order according to the first 3 numbers of the section ID (listed on your NTS). Once all the scores for that section have been released, they move onto the next section.
In the january/Feb first wave release, REG released very late for some reason. I think around 8 pm, when BEC/Audit began around 5ish. Pretty late compared to my other score releases, which probably averaged around 2-3 pm
Ah, so they could be out before your exam. Personally I wouldn't check. I think I would be less distracted by the fact that I didn't know what my score was compared to the distraction of happiness from passing or anger from failing. But that's just me.
I wouldn't check either. Take your exam at 130, then drive home, open up a beer, and check your score.
I took FAR on 4/19 at 830am, which is obviously day 19 of the window. I literally have no way of knowing whether my score will be released with this wave or if I'll have to wait until late May. Grrr….
Hey J-Reese, I took my REG actually exactly same date/time. I believe exams are submitted pretty easily to AICPA for grading at the end of the day, so it would be before day 20, or at least on day 20. I think we both should be alright.
@j-reese – There's no way to know until scores come out. But you're not alone – there are a bunch of us that took exams on 4/19. Last quarter a guy on my audit team took an exam on Day 20 when Day 20 was a Sunday and he still was included in wave 1. This makes me hopeful that us 4/19-ers will be all set this time around. I'm assuming I'm included because my Prometric is open on Saturdays so even if my exam was not submitted for grading on Friday 4/19, the Prometric center was open and would have been able to submit my exam on Saturday 4/20.
j-reese- I like your style. I might need to crack more than one though after I take FAR. I don't know that I've ever been nervous for a test but I am terrified for tomorrow. I am just praying for good Sims and decent MCQ's… Its all up to fate at this point.
@bcjasper09 – I thought the same way before I went into FAR – kept my fingers crossed for decent sims and ended up with 5 doable and 2 impossible. here's to hoping one of the “impossibles” were pre-test!
