CA BEC 507 – Knocked down a 77. Weaker and comparable in everything but the writing, I wonder if that means I was under 75 and that picked me up. 3/4 and ready to settle in with a long, bloody campaign against FAR. Would be great if I could somehow manuever a 1st time pass, 3 test win streak is still sweet and hopefully can help my confidence with the studying.

Congrats to everyone else that was bubble bound, especially to my fellow CA'ers!

@littlerobot…thanks babe! Hopefully, both dates are our lucky days. I can't believe I failed it since it was the most simplest exam compared to all of the other BEC exams I took. I really thought I brought it home this time. Good luck to us both!!! I know we can and we will pass this exam!!

@supervisor and littlenumberrobot NOOOOO!! So sorry for you guys but hang in there. YOU CAN DO THIS!!

I remember the 3rd time I took BEC, I felt it was more reasonable than the other two. However, I was totally dismayed when I got a 71. On my 4th attempt, I was so upset and frustrated during the exam I was actually slamming the pencils on the desk. I left the testing center and did some major retail therapy. I was convinced that I had only got TWO MC's correct. A few weeks later, I got the coveted 75. I am still convinced there was 73 point curve on that one.

Now, take tonight off, drink and drown your sorrows, and tomorrow get up and put the big girl panties on and start studying like you have never seen the material before. I don't know what study materials you guys are using but if there are videos involved, watch them again and do the MC questions until you puke. Clean it up and do some more.

@Supervisor, I don't know if it makes you feel better but you have two more shots at this before you lose any credit. YOU CAN DO THIS!! BOTH OF YOU!! ALL OF YOU CAN!

Pretty much like that. I studied the exactly same way as always – daily, no life, no excuses. But I think i getting comfortable with the exam itself and it shows in grades. Funny thing, from the grades no one would guess that my forte is a financial accounting but I was so stressed out by the unknown that during FAR rushed like a madman thru the MCQ and then, clicked on sims and freaked out b/c they were not near as bad as I've imagined.

So happy today, just came back from the event and still delirious 🙂

Despite widely reported experience we read a lot on this forum of folks feeling nailing it and then, learning that they failed and vice versa, i felt adequately prepared and satisfied with the exam on each section and thought that i would pass but not sure of the exact grade. And, it proved to be correct.
