i took REG on 7/16 and am expecting the score to be released on 8/24. i’m scheduled to take BEC on 8/27. i’m afraid i may get discouraged for my BEC exam if i find out i didn’t pass REG.

i was wondering what you guys would do in my situation. would you wait and check after the exam or would you just say freak it and check as soon as it is released???

I'd wait! I have heard of people opening the results after they get out of an exam. I advise opening it after your BEC exam.. but don't get so excited that you rush through BEC. I just got out of BEC today. 🙁

If you get a good score on REG, you may think you are studying to much for BEC and slack off a bit.. or if you failed REG, you may ponder why you failed it and be destracted from studying for BEC. At least that is what I woudl do! haha.

I am waiting for BEC and hope to restrain myself from checking before taking FAR on 9/31.

It is going to be SO tough, but I too would suggest waiting until after.

On a side note, is REG scheduled (usually) to come out last? When do you think audit will be out?

I don't think it's possible for me to wait. I checked my last AUD score before FAR, and I was sick. I almost threw up before going in to take FAR and felt like crying during the test, but somehow still passed.

I took BEC on 7/1 and still do not have results. I have been thinking about it for weeks as to whether I am going to open my results before I take my auditing exam on 8/26. I think results are predicted to come out tonight for BEC. Very hard decision for me!!

NASBA hasn't posted anything about releasing scores to the state boards yet so don't expect BEC out tonight.

If you are a NASBA state, you will get your BEC score Thursday night. You will get it Thursday morning if you're an early bird state. Looks like we won't see AUD until Monday night, what a joke!

I'm taking REG 8/20/10 and feel like I haven't studied nearly enough… probably because I'm constantly checking to see if my 7/19/10 AUD score has been posted yet! Hopefully I'm almost 1/2 way through this monster!

I may be remembering this wrong, but doesn't AICPA release some scores multiple days in a row? I thought I remember most of one section being released one day, then most of another section being released the next day, with some more from the previous day's section being released as well.

Am I just thinking about the NASBA release?

No, the AICPA does do this sometimes. They'll release the majority or all on the first release day for a section and then sometimes a few hundred or even a handful of scores on a later day. I don't know why they do this; maybe because some scores are very close. Though, I got a 74 on my first AUD exam and got it with the first chunk of scores. I wish they had kept it a little longer and tweaked it one point!

Thank GSU, I thought I was going crazy. But when they release the few extras, don't they also release a whole bunch of a NEW test too? I feel like I've read Jeff's post like “AICPA release 6,784 AUD scores and 321 more BEC scores tonight” or something.

I'm only asking because it seems like everyone is saying they only release MWF, but is that true?
