There has been a lot of talk about whether or not how you feel leaving the test center provides any indication of the score you actually receive once scores are released. I think it would be interesting to have everybody guess what score they got based on how they felt leaving the test center. In three weeks, we can look back to this post and see if there is any correlation between how you felt you did and the actual score you received.

    I’ll go first.

    Aud – 78

    REG – 83

Ha, this was a fun old thread. I think it would be entertaining to continue it so I'm going to resurrect it.

I'm already done, but here were my honest predictions at the time I took the exam:

    Prediction Actual

    REG: 67 83 Ha, I thought I failed b/c of the SIMS

AUD: 90 77 I was way too confident, left the testing center two hours early

    FAR: 85 89 I was 99% sure I passed but after AUD I had that 1% doubt

BEC: 80 89 I was worried I could have failed because I'm not a great writer and I got rocked by COSO MCQs

NIU CPA Review Correspondence is awesome!

I passed all four sections on the first attempt

    Love it!

    AUD: P – 80 A – 81 –> got o a point in the sims where I felt I answered enough to secure a pass

    BEC: P – 65 A – 80 –> got to a point that I figured I bombed no matter what so I just scrammbled through the W/C in 30 min and left

    REG: P – 75 A – 76 –> cried with this pass!

FAR: will update after next weekend hopefully actual with be 75+

    Awesome!

B – Prediction 65 – Passed with a 75 (I was convinced I bombed it because two of the writing topics were foreign to me.

A – Prediction 79 – Passed with an 88 (I left feeling ok and as time passed I got less confident. Did better than I thought)

R – Prediction 80 – Passed with an 89 (I left knowing I passed but was shocked when i got my actual score. i did better on sims than I realized.

F – Prediction 85 – Passed with a 79 (This surprised me as I reall thought I did better than I did, but at least I passed).

    BEC – predicted 80+, actual 85

    AUD – predicted 70-75, actual 74

FAR – predicted 65-70, actual 79 (I still don't know how this happened)

I'm taking AUD again on the 12th. I think I'm better prepared this time. The MCQs were my downfall, and I've really hit them hard. Prediction: 80. (Gotta think positive!)

    B 85 1/17/12
    A 85 11/12/12 (74 on 1st attempt)
    R -- 2/25/13
    F 79 8/29/12

    Just took AUD.

I feel like anything between a 60-78 is possible. I'm gonna predict that I'll get a 75 due to the curve. However would be absolutly shocked if I got in the 80s and would not be suprised at all to see something in the 60's. But if I fail, it's my own fault.

I chose a new study strategy for this one: Slack off and don't study that much and see if I can squeek by. Lets see if it works!

    REG - Passed!!
    BEC - Passed
    FAR - Passed
    AUD - Passed

    FAR: 80(Jul 2012).

What a pointless thread. It makes more sense to predict WHETHER you passed or failed. Attaching a random number is pointless. That being said, I think I passed AUD. Anything at or above 75 is fine by me.
