Score Limbo? Could be done? Post here!

    For those of you who took what could potentially be your last exam and are waiting on scores, post here!

    I took AUD yesterday, 3/9. Feel strangely confident that I did enough to pass (mainly because I didn’t bomb the sims). The hardest part is trying to accept the fact that I could be done with the CPA exam and won’t know for two more weeks!

    Anyone else in the same situation? How are you feeling?

    There are a ton of us on here I've noticed over the past few days. And a surprising number of us with just FAR left. My exam on 3/6 was well rounded. I feel like I saw everything I studied for but definitely could of used another week or 2 of review. SIMs were not terrible but 2 of them I probably missed completely, 1 the AL really helped, the others I got probably 50-75% right. We will see.

    Just curious, do you feel your performance on the FAR sims were comparable to the AUD sims? I'm trying to gauge if you feel that you got a bunch of partial credit on the AUD sims and still passed.\

    At the end of the day this was my 5th exam. I kind of have a feeling of what a passing performance should feel like when you leave the testing center. The only exam I failed, I knew I failed because I bombed the sims and still wound up with a 74

    I feel like most of the Q1 FAR study group was made up of us “one and done-rs”. I sat yesterday and honestly do not feel too great about it.. My MCQ's were really random- and very heavily concentrated on one topic that while covered in study material is not heavily focused on- in fact I think my video lectures even said “you may see one or two questions on this topic”- well I saw about 15 or 20. My SIMS were actually not awful- much better than they have been in the past, however again, I had three on one topic that is by far my weakest area… so all and all I feel like there is no end in sight for me… 🙁

    and they ask me why I drink...

    FAR- 61-next time I'll ask for lube instead of a calculator
    REG-75- Never been so happy to see such a low grade
    BEC- 8/11
    AUD- 9/2

    Is anyone going to study before score release? I really really really don't want to but think maybe I should just in case?

    Haha I'm going no where near study materials until score release.

    @NeedsA75
    , to answer your question I'd say my FAR Sim experience was similar to my AUD experience. I'm a little fuzzy since I took AUD last June but I definitely know I didn't nail the SIMs. But I only passed AUD with a 77 so I might have bombed Sims and nailed the MCQ. Hard to say.

    My experience with FAR today sounds identical to

    @somethingsomethingcpa
    and @trevor. Crazy! I hope we all have good news on the 21st and can post that we are done!

    Definitely in limbo here.

    I took BEC today and feel decent about it – however, I'm hesitant to celebrate until score release.

    I don't know what to do with myself…

    I took BEC on 3/6 and feel very pessimistic about it. Second time taking it. First time around i felt like it was a 50/50 and ended up with a 74. This time I feel like i did worse than last time. I'd like to think that it was because of my lack of sleep. my watch is telling me I slept a good ONE hour. I felt so tired during the exam. None of the questions made sense, but my scores on progress test were up in the high 80's and 90's. so sad. Anyways. I'm started watching the lectures today. Don't want to forget anything.

    It sucks that the examiners are going to take 10 weeks to release 2Q scores. That puts a lot of us on limbo for the first section to expire….

    It felt so weird not studying this weekend. I almost felt guilty about not studying, strange I know…

    Karessa, you did well on Audit. How did you feel when you left the testing center?

    Agreed – not studying this weekend felt so irresponsible. I drank wine, watched movies, and caught up on all my podcasts. I felt like a wretched person.

    @NeedsA75
    , Audit was the only test I felt okay about leaving (I got all Chapter 2 questions, and I had studied that chapter inside and out).

    The score release for 2Q is ridiculous. FAR Expires on May 29 and REG on Aug. 29. Let's say I don't pass BEC so I have to sit in 2Q but since I won't know my score until Aug. are they going to extend my credit for these two sections?

    Waiting on BEC as well, took it 3/6. Don't know how to feel about it. I passed every section so far on my second attempt and this is my first attempt at BEC, so that makes me less confident. I do feel like I didn't leave anything on the table though, so we'll see. The 21st can't come soon enough.

    Also, I definitely felt irresponsible this weekend! After tasting the sweet nectar that is time off without a guilty feeling, I really hope that I can just pass and get to move on with my life.
