So I have passed 3 parts of the CPA so far and I am about to take my last exam (REG) in a few days. The only problem is that one of my exams expires in April. I was wondering if you are able to reschedule and retake the same exam even before your scores have been released. I was planning on taking regulation and then after I took it to reapply for regulation again and be able to sit for it again in April even before my score gets posted in march. Is this possible?

I know that it should work since I will be retaking REG in a different window than the first time I take it.

Nope not possible.. They won't let you reshedule an exam before the official “fail” comes out .

I was sure I failed BEC.. so I couldn't reschedule until IL State Board recv'd the official “fail”. Thankfully I didn't fail.

I told them they could have the “free” money… they still said “no”.. you have to receive the official “fail” before you can reschedule.
