Research Question Weight?

    Hi everyone,

I took audit on 5/30 and had a (1) research question that was VERY obscure and I spent a lot of time on figuring out what it was asking for, but I was wondering how much weight that tab is graded.

During my Gleim studying the simulations were graded as if each tab was its own test and then they were added as a whole as in:

    simulation 1: 7 correct questions out of 8 = 7/8 = 87.5%

    simulation 2: 10 correct questions out of 14 = 10/14 = 71.4%

    simulation 3: 6 correct questions out of 7 = 7/8 = 85.7%

    simulation 4: 8 correct questions out of 8 = 8/8 = 100%

    simulation 5: 9 correct questions out of 10 = 9/10 = 90%

    simulation 6: 7 correct questions out of 8 = 7/8 = 87.5%

    Simulation 7: (Research) 1 correct question out of 1 = 100%

    ***Leading to a simulation score of = (87.5+71.4+85.7+100+90+87.5+100) / 7 = 88.87 % on simulations***

While others have told me that it is just one point and theyre not worth spending more than 5 minutes on.

Is there any literature on how this plays out?

    Thank you!

See the link below for details, but basically research used to be worth very little pre-2011. Now it seems as if the 40% weight for simulations is evenly split for all simulations that are not pre-test ones. I am pretty sure I saw on this very forum where Jeff confirmed that was his understanding as well.

Makes sense considering the time some of the research ones take to find…

    BEC: 79 - April 2011
    FAR: 78 - May 2011
    AUD: 81 - May 2012
    REG: 79 - October 2012
    Ethics: Passed - March 2013
    I am finally DONE!
