I have a question regarding the New Reg Material we need to know starting July. I am reviewing with Becker 2011 but it doesn’t seem to cover any new material. Am I missing something?

Apparently we are required to know

Public Law 86-272

Uniform Division of Income for Tax Purposes Act (UDITPA)

Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer

But those are definitely not covered in Becker. Is there any website/places I can look to study this new information? How do I know what is covered?

If you go to the Becker website there is a software update you can do that will have this information.

the updates seem to only have updates of the passmaster questions, not the material?

Will this new stuff be heavily tested?

CPA2behopefully – you might be right as far as questions that count, but they may have a lot of test questions on the new material. I had more questions than I'd expected on some new topics this year. Unfortunately, you have no idea which ones count and which ones don't.

The REG NINJA has the new topics broken down – only the stuff you need to know. I believe the NINJAs were the first to produce a July update 🙂
