Hi everyone i recently passed my exam and am licensed in VA but need to be licensed in GA. I am trying to understand the reciprocity application for ga but it is a little confusing to me. Could any provide any clarification for me. Ive called Nasba but they didnt seem too sure of their answer.
1) the application says “to submit work experience of one year minimum of 2,000 hours completed not more than one year preceeding the date of application”. When i called nasba they told me it didnt matter whether that 2000 came from public or private however i thought GA required 2000 from public only and more if you worked in industry. over the last year ive worked in industry but prior to that i worked in public for 3 yrs. do i need to submit verification for both or just the 2000 from industry that ive worked at in the last year?
2) for the notary does my supervisor need to go with me to get it notarized? What if i have to get verification from my supervisor from public which i no longer work for? Does that supervisor still need to come with me?
I appreciate any help you can offer!
