Re-examination Candidate Status

I recently took BEC on August 25th, which is the first section I have taken. On August 27th, my Application Status on NASBA changed to ‘Re-examination Candidate’. This was my only exam I have scheduled, so I don’t have another NTS outstanding. My friend who also tested that day had the same thing happen, but he still has an NTS outstanding for another section. I am wondering if this means I failed since I am classified as a Re-applicant?? Anyone else seen this? Thanks.

I don't have an answer for you, but this freaked me out so much, I checked my own status.

Strange! My AUD says the correct day and exact time I started the exam.

My FAR shows the correct day. but a strange time. It's not the time I was scheduled for, or the time I started, or the time I finished. Prometric was having some issues shutting down my computer and issuing me my attendance record, but finally did. I did go all the way through the exam including all of the questionnaire at the end. This, of course has me completely freaked out and hoping my entire exam was accepted. Guess I'll know Tuesday AM. YIKES!!

    AUD 88 (expired), 80 retake
    FAR 64,69,67,73,67,73,73,73, August 3
    REG 75 (expired) September 7
    BEC 72, 77

    The adventure continues...

You automatically become a re-examination student once you take an exam. Doesn't mean you failed.
