    Hey Everyone,

For all of those who unfortunately failed an exam in the past couple of windows. Have all of you received your performance report? I haven’t received my paper score yet and I’m retaking REG on Nov. 10 I’d like to know how I did in the legal part so that I can figure out how much time to invest in Becker chats. 5-7. I have a feeling that what destroyed me were simulations especially since I was only short by 3 points. It seems to me that there was probably only one small area that I wasn’t as well prepared for.

I recently moved so I wonder if they sent it to my old address and now it’s lost somewhere in the mail haha

I took FAR on 7/30 and just got my paper score today. It was sent to my old address that I used to register for the exam even though I updated my address through ILBOA's site. Looks like they'll send it to whatever address was on your NTS, not necessarily the address in your website profile.

Thanks!! I got mine last night! I guess I was anxious bc I'm starting R6 tomorrow and wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting time or not focusing enough on something. Apparently I did stronger on business law. So i guess I can now just review those times and focus primarily on what I did weaker

Taxation on Property transactions – any idea what that actually includes? or where I can find that?

I also did weaker on sims, but that makes sense because I never practice sims haha and because the topics on mine were out of the left field. They were more like FAR than tax. Anyway!

Any suggestions on where to get extra SIMs practice would be great ,I'm pretty sure Becker's do not represent the exam very well.

Transactions in property would be basis, gifting, like kind exchanges, personal casualty losses, gains/losses in business property…..to name a few. The Wiley book has a whole chapter on it. I think in Becker it is spread out in R1-R4. I am using the Wiley testbank for more practice on sims since Becker's sims aren't really difficult.

Best of luck….hopefully this is your last exam!

I thought Becker did ok with Reg sims. I've done some tax work in the past so navigating tax forms was second nature to begin with, but it's not that hard.

    Reg 8/31/11 80
