I took Audit on April 5th, but apparently the score release date is June 27th?? Can somebody please explain why the Q2 score release date is so late? For Q1 the turnaround was much sooner. I guess there is nothing I can do to get my score sooner but I am still very confused.

There is a delay for the rest of the year because of the changes made to the exam format in Q2. There were delays for Q2 through the end of 2017 because of changes last year. There were no additional changes in Q1, so there was a relatively normal score release schedule.

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16
    REG - 75
    FAR - 7/15/16
    BEC - TBD

system upgrade… many of us who starting this journey in 2017 have felt this pain OFTEN, this is the second upgrade (maybe 3rd) since I started. My April 2017 test took 12 weeks for results…. missed a whole GD window.

It's the same for Q3 and Q4, which is why I'm sneaking in REG June 9th even though that doesn't give me as much time to study as I'd like, cause if I take it in July I won't find out til September. I think the NASBA said the late release score dates are because of the new system and they're anticipating possible complications.

Luckily I signed up for BEC on June 9th, so I can get two scores out of all this. That seems a little ridiculous, but there's nothing I can do but study and press on.

Yeah. the late scores are not ideal. Like others have said, AICPA wants to make sure their new software upgrades are working properly. I'm basically taking 3 exams in Q2 to keep from going crazy waiting for one score at the end of June. Some may say that taking 3 exams is crazy within itself. oh well.

I think the AICPA is just screwing with us. In all honesty, except for BEC, our exams are scored within seconds of us hitting “Submit”. But it takes them 12 weeks to turn our scores to us. It ensures nobody tries to take the same exam twice in a window I guess. Maybe too many people were passing and this is some kind of mental warfare tactic? Score releases are inherently not fun. This just makes it worse.

The delay is crazy! I plan to take REG in July and I won’t know my score until September. Since I failed FAR, my retake will push my score to December 11th.

The AICPA added an additional score release date to September and December.
