Excuse me if I’m not informed on any of the latest updates/info… but apparently there is going to be a 10-week delay in the score release for all candidates taking the exam in Q2. The release date is August 16 – 18th.

I am absolutely stunned that I will not be able to find out my score for an exam I take in April until August. I may end up losing my AUD credit in May if I don’t pass my exams in April.

    B - 81
    A - 87
    R - 73
    F - July 5th

I am taking time off in late April and May to study for FAR, but there is no way I am getting time off for AUD as its before April 18th. What I really need is for the AICPA to realize how ridiculous this is and grant an extension to EVERYBODY affected to keep things fair. It shouldnt be up to each individual state board, that isnt fair in any way.

@AICPAy2play Agreed, the easiest course of action would be for everyone who has 1 passed test to get a one quarter extention from the equivalent date in the quarter to the next, i.e. my BEC expires 11/30 so move my expiration date to 2/28. My AUD expires 12/20 so move that one to 3/20, and so on.

    FAR: 39,59,TBD
    BEC: 74,79
    AUD: 77
    REG: September

Exactly, Something. But I dont really count on it happening. The 18mo rule, the rule behind taking each section once per quarter, and the non-testing months tell me that logic isnt really factored in to their decision making.

I still think they are HOPING to get the scores out in May or June but saying mid August to cover their butts (can you imagine if they SAID may but then didn't release until Aug 18? whoa the outrage………) Thats why so tight lipped right now for extensions, they won't give a full quarter extension if scores end up being delayed around 2 weeks, but if delayed a full quarter I bet they will extend at least that long. Truth is they don't have much more a clue what they're about to do than test takers do!
