Yeah, I don't get it. They videotape you while you take the test. And they still think we're cheating????

I don't know about your sites, but they watch that camera like a hawk at the center I went to. I dropped a pencil and they were checking on me 5 seconds after I reached down to get it.

Don't even get me started on the TSA. After waiting in the security line for longer than normal, I went through one of those new scanners last week and turned my head at the wrong time when the agent said something to me. Rather than rescan me even though the messed up scan was their fault, they made me wait in a cordoned off area for 15 minutes for a pat down. I could have gone to a private room, but I was afraid I'd miss my flight so I got patted down in public. They went through all this, and I later discover they'd missed a giant bottle of saline solution that I'd forgotten was in my purse. I feel so safe.

In addition to cheating, the new security measures are probably also due to AICPA and NASBA's fear that candidates who have waited almost 3 months for a failing score may retaliate by harming test center personnel upon sitting for their retake?? Just a thought 😉

Yea haha. I have some hand gestures I use to remember certain mnemonics or concepts and the second I start doing one they come running behind me and just sit and watch.

I yawned during FAR and covered my mouth with my forearm, and the test administrator came right over and asked me to pull up my sleeves so that she could check to make sure I didnt have notes written on my arm or something. really?? Im yawning because im exhausted and I was up all night cramming! (haha, i know, i should have been better prepared so I didnt have to cram at the last minute!)

But really, I was under so much stress already, being treated like a suspected criminal was a little bit annoying.

What I think they should do is let him take the tests now and if he passes when we applies to be certified – deny him and site ethical and character issues! But if might want to have one of those mental detectors at the entry to the board headquarters cause that would piss him off something fierce!
