Prometric 24 hours AICPA receives score?

I test Dec 10 AUD. My FAR pass will expire 1/31/2018. If I take exam by Dec 10, and AICPA receives scores from prometric by Dec. 10 at 11:59 PM, I will receive score on Dec. 19.
However, if AICPA receives score After Dec. 10 at 11:59 PM, I will receive my score on February 6.
Does anyone of you have first hand experience with this situation or similar situation? I’m feeling 50/50 right now about this test, but had assumed if it didn’t pass, I would just be able to take it again and pass in January.

In my past experience, you'll be fine. I've tested on the last day of the window on more than one occasion and have always received my score by the initial target date.

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16
    REG - 75
    FAR - 7/15/16
    BEC - TBD

I'm working on BEC. I take it next Thursday and not feeling very confident at this point, but hoping I'll get over the hump between now and then. My problem is that most of it is foreign to me since I don't do it regularly. I found the other sections to be much easier. But I don't envy you on AUD. That was my nemesis for 2 years.

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16
    REG - 75
    FAR - 7/15/16

same here, taken it on the last day 3 times and haven't had issues with score. Although I was once in the BEC bubble and had to wait an extra 4 days.

@Paydirt123, you should still get your result by December 19 (the target release date for 4Q17 testing window). The Feb 6 result schedule is the first wave of result for 1Q18 testing window.

They practically always get scores at midnight of the day you test. If something weird happened like your Prometric lost power at 11:59 and couldn't transmit the batch you'd be delayed 5-7 days, not until the next window

Jennifer: Your call obviously, if you're not feeling confident about Thursday maybe you can push it back a couple weeks? Not sure what study material you use, I use Becker and found the actual exam a lot easier than I anticipated.

I hope they get it. The website AICPA explicitly states exams received after Dec 10 11:59 PM will be returned February 6. Pretty sure the 6 day period your mentioning was prior to the new exam being launched, or maybe the alternate BEC score release timeline for exams needing extra time to grade the written communication

For the record on the scores: https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-score-release-dates-q4-2017/

And I refuse to push it back! lol I'm determined to take it next week. I am off for basically the entire week leading up to it, so I think it will be ok. Just need to get my head wrapped around some of the concepts and continue to work on memorizing the crazy amount of formulas. I'm using Ninja primarily, with a Wiley backup. I hope I feel the same way you do! Just ready to get this all knocked out.

    Good luck next week!

Jennifer- thank you for that link, wish AICPA or NASBA specified what would happen if tests received after Dec. 10 (they might have, I may have missed it but IDK).

Don't go crazy about the formulas. The BEC exam is more conceptual than computational (I stole that line from the lecture, and I wholeheartedly agree). The key is not to remember how to do it, but why you do it.
