I have taken three exam sections, with BEC left for October. I have scored a 99 on all three of the sections I have already taken, and it has made me curious to know how common it is for someone to get four perfect scores. I tried searching on Google but couldn't find a whole lot of information. Anybody have any idea?

No idea, but great scores. You'll probably get one of those awards they give out every year to the top 10 candidates.

unless you completely blow your next exam, you're probably up for the watts sells award, which is a great achievment. no one talks about their scores if they're a cpa, but for really, really great scores like your's i'm sure it's something you would put on your resume/cv.

I think you failed. Every point over a 75 is time wasted. I hope you one day find something better to do with your time. But i'm just jealous and dishing some out after I was called arrogant in another topic.

I know it. When I think about all that time I could have spent watching TV, it just makes me sick inside. 🙂 I didn't get my first score back until I had taken my second exam, so I had no idea how well I did. I just wanted to pass! I was incredibly surprised to see how high the scores were.

What is your secret to success? Did you focus on MCQ, video, or the book?

I watch all the videos once (they are awful), then I read each section of the book and work all the multiple choice questions related to that section. When I get a question wrong or if it was especially tricky, I will mark it for review. At the end of the chapter, I rework the questions I got wrong until they are all right. When I have gone through all of the chapters, I go back and spend one day on each chapter, reading back through it and working all the questions I marked as being difficult or tricky. Then I take the practice exam, find out what areas I still have to work on, and restudy. I also make flashcards of things I have a hard time remembering or understanding, and look at them at least once a day in the week before the exam until I feel like I know them all. That is my study plan!

I averaged five weeks between exams, and I studied 30-40 hours each week.
