Try to upload it to some free website and then post the link. I think Google or Yahoo should have one.

@Peanut, I used Gleim. I love Gleim. The questions challenge me. I know you do not want to buy anything else but buy the CPAReviewforFree Test Set. Coupled with Gleim, I went from 74 to 90. I would just practice MCs and read Jeff's notes daily. I also got the CPA Review notes…he explains things a little more indepth but it's relatable too. You may need to see the questions from a different perspective to ensure you understand the concepts.

    Don't lose hope, KICK A$$!

Since I can't copy and paste I'll have to type it out…

    Understanding the Engagement (12-16%) Stronger

    Understanding the Entity (16-20%) Stronger

    Procedures and Evidence(16-20%) Comparable

    Evaluation and Reporting(16-20%) Stronger

    Accounting and Review Services(12-16%) Stronger

    Professional Responsibilities(16-20%) Stronger

    Multiple Choice (60%) Stronger

    Simulations (40%) Weaker

So basicalllllly I smashed the MCQs, but the SIMs bent me over… fml. I thought I did so much better on the SIMs this time around!

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67

    @Peanut

That means you really do know the material well…you just gotta get comparable on the SIMS. I dunno how to do that except for practicing a few on Becker and Wiley. All I can think of is that you should abuse the research tool. But you're very close! You certainly don't need another review course.

    R 8/11 86

Wow! That's messed up. You're stronger in a lot of categories. Looks like the AICPA has it in for people that score Weaker on Sims.

Well, clearly you know what you need to work on…. Sims. Keep practicing them and like I said, try to explain the reasons behind the right answers.

I had a couple score reports that said that I did stronger in a lot of MCQ categories and weaker in sims, and I failed. Anytime I got weaker in sims, I failed… except for FAR, where I somehow got a 77, but that was before the sims had a 40% weight. The sims are a huge part of the grade and there's practically no insight into why you received “weaker” on them.

Basically the score reports are useless and it's best to just try, try again. Sorry hon. But once you pass, it will all be worth it. I promise!!!!!!!

    Hi Peanut,

Sorry to hear about your Audit score. I swear they grade these tests funky! On my score report for the MCQs, I was stronger on 4, comparable on 1, and weaker on 1. And… I was weaker on SIMS, yet I received an 81. Very hokey!

Keep your chin up… next time you will pass! 3rd time's a charm, right? 🙂 My bad, I should have said 4th time… rough day today! 🙁

@catlovergirl, I thought third time was a charm, but this is going to be my FOURTH attempt!

I'm already back on the horse, finished A1 lecture and intense notes, on A2 lecture now… threw up in my mouth a little typing that..

Oops, my bad! I didn't see the first score. Having a rough day today… food poisoning and my test is on Saturday! Not too good, but I can't reschedule because there are no dates left in May. 🙁

Sorry again, you WILL nail it next time!

Yargh, yea I think a lot of people underestimate the impact the SIMs have on your score. We sometimes forget that it's nearly half your score, and that each question you answer or blank you fill in on the SIMs is weighted heavier than a MCQ. It's seriously a big deal.

One thing that Gleim does have is the Simulation Wizard. You get 6 SIMs for each of 20 subunits, so 120 SIMs for extra practice. And they're better done than the Wiley ones, IMO.

    Good luck this next round!
