Hi everyone — the last 3+ months waiting for my Q2 REG score have been awful. The only thing that helped my anxiety was this message board. I’m not an active poster, but when I read through it’s so comforting to know I’m not alone in this horrible process.

As inspiration to anyone else out there who, like I was, is struggling and thinking of giving up — I am so happy to report that I passed REG with an 82! This was my third test, and now I just have BEC to go. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and though it’s not over yet, I’m already feeling relief. I knew all along REG would be the hardest test for me (soooo much memorization), and the insane score release period was a nightmare.

I wish everyone out there the best of luck in climbing the CPA mountain. We’re all sacrificing our nights, weekends, social lives, relationships with friends, family, significant others, not to mention physical and mental health, to accomplish this goal. All I can say is: Don’t give up — we can do this.

Thanks again for all the support this message board has provided. It means a lot.

@Gobears123: I have only REG left. I felt the mistake I made when I took the exam in May was that I did not focus much connecting theory and Tax returns. Any suggestions that I can study differently. Appreciate your help.

To me, the theory was less critical than the application. I think applying the material is key in the new format.

    Hope that helps. Good luck!
