Hello – I am new to the forum and took my first test on November 21 (audit).

It has been exciting to read all your posts that you all got your scores.

In the last month, I have celebrated with you when you have passed and have been sad when you have not reach the coveted 75 score.

Here in Oregon, which is a non-Nasba state, we receive our scores by snail mail, so we do not have our scores yet.

When I left the testing center, I had no idea how it went, similar to what you all have posted. However, I studied my rear off using Yaeger and Wiley materials.

Even after studying, the questions seemed confusing in their wording and I could not tell if the questions got harder. Also, the sims have always been more challenging than me than MCQ’s even in Wiley.

When are we going to get those Oregon scores so I can at least know if I got 75? I am scared of getting below a 75 and I can’t stand the thought of studying for another three months and am not sure if I can do it.

If I pass, I can’t decide whether to move on to REG or BEC.

Also, I may need to buy those Ninja notes that everyone is talking about.

Oregon – please post scores or mail them today.

Oregon = probably the last state in the entire US to receive scores by about 2 weeks. We're so green.

@smileymiley – Kodiak is 100% right. Oregon is quite literally the worst state ever. I took my test on April 5th (wave one) scores were release Friday May 3rd for the NASBA states and I got my score last Tuesday May 14th! Yep that's 11 days after the score release. Oh and that was only by email- the actual score in the mail didn't arrive until last Friday 14 days after the release. Wahoo Oregon. As you can tell I'm a little bitter haha. But that is unusually long of a wait! In the past Oregon will get their scores and you can call/email them generally 3 business days after the release. If they come out tomorrow you might as well try Friday afternoon (scores most times arrive around 2-3pm FedEx)- but I'd be shocked if they were there Friday! Just keep emailing and calling every afternoon until they arrive. Good luck with the wait! I'll be anxiously waiting next wave.

I called the oregon board this morning and they said they should be receiving the scores beginning of next week…then we can call in and they'll tell us our scores. I'm still going to try calling Friday afternoon just in case!

Wow. Oregon really sucks at this. It's not fair to all of us to have to sit here and wait while the rest of the country is relieved to have their scores. Next week is unbelievable, I would understand a day or two of difference but a week? Seriously??? That's all sorts of messed up.

I wish we could directly contact NASBA, or whoever it is that has our scores. Oh well, time to forget I'm waiting again.

@Jsmi77y Good luck!!! This is your final score! Here we are waiting on our scores again. Let me know when and if you contact Kim, I will do the same.

I plan to start calling on Tuesday @3pm.

I am out on an audit all next week, but will sneak away to call.

Just called them again this morning. They said there is a chance they could receive the scores this afternoon so I'm going to try again. If they do not receive them today, then we have to wait until next week as they are off tomorrow due to statewide holiday. Just wanted to update my fellow Oregon CPA hopefuls!

Damn Hippy 🙁 the feeling definitely sucks. This whole testing process really doesn't seem worth it some days!

I just talked to Kim and I passed BEC – Still in shock as I left the testing center thinking that I had failed and was mentally preparing for a re-take. She could not tell me my score but sent me a screen shot that I had credit now for both Audit and BEC.

The champagne will be flowing tonight and for the holiday weekend.

For those who did not pass, my heart aches for you.
