@ Kristen – what are you studying for next? I think I am going to study for AUD.. My scores so far are:

FAR: 66 (Gleim)

REG: 68 (Gleim) retook 2/5/2011.. WAITING

BEC: 73 (Becker – decided to try something different because Gleim was not working for me obviously lol)

So the only one I haven't taken in AUD.. I need motivation before I quit this whole process, ha! I have heard AUD isn't too bad.. Becker's material is WAY WAY WAY better then Gleim's so hopefully I can actually pass now..

@ FL_hopeful. Wow, you definitely got the raw end of the stick with your REG scores last time. For both FAR and BEC, I only had ONE section on my progress report above a 75. I had some sections as low as a 66. Yet I passed both exams with a 77. I'm surprised you failed when you had all sections but one above a 75. This scoring makes no sense at all!

anyone who took regulation in february, how you felt about the new exam, i personally feel it was tough, i want to know how other people felt? did they fell same or different ? and last week of march was the date previously told by Jeff, this means 25th or 28th of this month

I wish NASBA would just come out and say that scores will be released on the 31st. Screw this cryptic “last week of March” BS. The uncertainty is killing me more than any inconvenience caused by a slow grading process at this point.

@syedjaveedshah – I thought REG was terrible. It was supposed to be my last exam. I studied my rear off and felt confident going in, but it was like they gave me the wrong test. Can't imagine how we were supposed to know some of those mcqs.

Here is my reg experience, 1st MC medium, 2nd MC easy (which scares me) 3rd MC Hard but still easier than the 1st.. 2 of the sims I think I nailed, 1 sim i could have gotten right, but not really sure, 1 sim i had NO CLUE what they were asking.. and crazy as it may seem, my research was rediculous! It wasn't worded very well.. all in all – HARD lol. I absolutely know i failed, its just a matter of how bad i failed 🙁

@NOLA- If I pass REG and BEC I'm going to try FAR. I think it is going to be the toughest for me and I don't want to save it for last.

I am pretty worried about BEC and REG though. I took them first in Oct and Nov, and score 73 and 74 respectively. When I retook BEC the multiple choice were hard, some things were on there that I had never even seen. But the written comm threw me. My questions were FAR related, which I haven't studied for yet, and I've been out of school for almost 6 years. I really hope they're graded on writing skill and not accuracy.

As for REG, my MCQs started hard for me, continued hard for me, and then the last testlet seemed easy. I know it's not a good sign. But, they all had different things on them also. So I don't know if it was easier because in general the questions were easier, or because I just knew those topics better. Anyway, the sims seemed easy. Is that weird? I guess I didn't realize that you could look everything up in the IRC and I had time to do so.

Anyway, I'm rambling……

I just hope I passed at least one of them so I have time to retake it and study for FAR to test in July.

@NOLA i felt the SAME way about my REG exam. UGH. It was very tough – Especially my research question, just like you mentioned!

I spoke to “Janice” at the NJ AICPA and she told me no date has been provided to her. I asked her if it would be this week and she said “no date has been provided to me”. I asked her if there was someone else I could talk to and she told me that I was the person she needed to talk to, but no date has been provided to her. Basically every question I asked her she said “no date has been provided to me”. WTF! I tried! I am going with July 1 to get the scores for the 2 parts I took this window and the 2 parts I will take next window. Grrrrr. I have no more patience! I feel for those of you that could potentially lose credit for a test. I'm so angry, nervous, and frustrated and I've only been at this since January. I can't even imagine the rage I would have inside of me if I were up against 18 months! I'd implode! Combust! I don't even know….oh well. 9 more days (hopefully).

Let me rephrase…The sims weren't easy, they just happened to be topics I was really familiar with and I had time to doublecheck in the IRC. However there was one where I had no idea what they were asking. I could read it two different ways and wasn't sure if I gave the answer the way I was supposed to. They could really work on being more clear in these questions.

Has anyone ever left a sim completely blank and still passed? 1 of the tabs on my sim i left blank (ran out of time, but even if i had enough time I wouldn't have known what to put, it was a strange very detailed question) Anyway, I am worried b/c sims are now worth 40%
